Chapter 22

Crystalline's POV
I walk in the building with a big smile on my face, I greet my staffs with a smile as they bow to me. I ride the elevator up to my floor to see, Shabby already there. "Goodmorning, Shabby! What's my schedule for today?" I lean to her counter and wait for my answer. "Goodmorning, what's with the big smile?" She ask as she look at her tablet. "The date went well" I tell her. "Ohhh, I want details later. Your schedule for today is a meeting with some directors at 11am and you plan to walk around the office after. That's all. I want to remind you about the ball. It's a week from now, do you have a date? A gown? It says it's a fancy theme, Hollywood glamour? Yes that's it" I smile at her, "I haven't bought my gown yet, I'm planning on asking Ace about it" I think about him and smile.

"You're making me feel single here, and stop smiling like that, it's creepy. Now go ahead you have papers to read and sign. Gosh! I never felt so single before!" I laugh at her exaggerated tone and continue to my office.

I continue doing everything and finish my meeting then I walk around to check on my staffs and employees. I heard my phone ring, I excuse myself and answer it. "Yes, shabby? Something wrong?" I heard her giggle before saying, "Prince Charming is here, waiting for you" with that she hang up and I instantly knew who's she's talking about. I rush to my floor to see Ace. "Hello, what are you doing here? It's still early" I check my watch and it's 1:30pm, we usually eat at 3pm.

"Well, I want to give you these" I look at the banquet of flowers on the counter. I lift it up and smell it. "Thank you but you don't have to do this" it's beautiful the way it was arranged.

"Oh come on, I just want to visit you and give you these then we go out to have lunch" I shake my head. "Wait for me, I'll just get my bag" I walk in my office and settle the flowers on my desk before grabbing my bag then go out.

"Let's go, Shabby call me if anything happens" she nod and tell us to enjoy. We walk out and then he drives me to the mall. I agreed just because I already complete everything a while ago and if more papers come, I can finish them tomorrow or later at home.

"Did you make a reservation again?" I ask. "Not really, I just want to be with you so I brought you here" I look at him, "why are you so sweet?" I ask.

"Can't I be sweet to you?" I shake my head laughing at him. "Fine, come on" we get out and enjoy our day just talking and walking around.

It's almost night time, we're at the rooftop of the mall where there's garden, time zones and restaurants. We are sitting on a bench next to a flower beds. "Crystalline, can I ask you something?" I look at him then go back to looking at the people around us. "What is it?" I ask. "Can you be my girlfriend?" I was taken back at what he said. I stay silent for a few seconds before answering, "yes! I'll be your girlfriend" I smile and kiss his cheek.

"Yes, see I told you I'm going to make you mine" I chuckle, "yeah, whatever" I lean my head on his shoulder and feel him wrap his arms on my waist, pulling me close. We stay like that before I ask him, "can you be my date on a ball next week?"

"Of course, baby" I raise an eyebrow. "Baby?" I look at him, "you don't like it?" I shake my head no, "I do like it, what do you want me to call you?" I think of things to call him but i can't think any. "I'll just call you by your name"

I stand up and pull him up, "let's go, do you want to watch a movie?" He nods, "let's watch a movie at home" we go down and drive to my house.

When we arrive, we saw my parents at the living room. "Mom, dad I'm home" they turn to look at us as I hug them. "Hello sweetie, Ace" he bow and look at us. "Mom, dad, me and Ace are together now" I declare as I held his hand. "Really?!" I nod happily as my mom hug me. "You better take care of her and welcome to the family" my dad hug him same as my mom. "We're gonna go to my room to watch a movie, bye" I tug him to my room. I open my door and settle everything to my table.

"What do you want to watch?" I ask as I turn the tv on. "Anything" I look at him, "sure?" He nods. I put on Harry Potter: the deathly hallows part2 , hey don't judge me it's my favorite movie.

I stand up and get drinks from my mini fridge then put a bag of popcorn in my microwave . "You have a big room" I look around and smile. "Yeah, I do. Mom and dad insist since I'm their only child. I'm planning to build my own house but I haven't tell it to them" I heard the microwave ding. I get a bowl and quickly move it in there. I grab everything and give him the drink before plopping myself to the bed then start the movie. "Then reel them, you're their daughter and I'm sure they'll say yes" I just hum and continue watching the movie. In the middle of the movie, I started getting sleepy. I snuggle close to him and slowly close my eyes, soon after I fell asleep.

Ace's POV
The movie just end, "baby?" I didn't hear anything so I look at her to see her sleeping. I fix her positions and pull the covers up. She looks so cute while sleeping. I just chuckle and take a picture of her. I turn the tv off and silently close the door. I went down and say goodbye to her parents.

I start my car and zoom out of there then start my way home. When I got home, I quietly go up to my room then clean myself up before going to sleep.
