Chapter 31

After a week
Ace's POV
Crystalline haven't woken up yet. I miss her, her bravery, her sass, I miss her so so much. And even though I don't want to bring what happened, I have to, I need her opinion and statement about this and that's why I haven't started anything but I have all the evidence and witness.

"Baby, please wake up, We miss you" I whispered looking at her pale face and our hands that are clasp together. "I'm sorry for not coming early, I should have check, I'm sorry. It's all my fault, please wake up" I cried. "It's not y-your fault" I heard her voice. I look up and see her looking at me, "Baby!" I give her a glass of water and help her sit up. "Wait here, I'll call the doctor" I got out and shouted for the doctor. After a few seconds, they come in and check everything, "She's fine now. The day after tomorrow, she can leave. She can't move to much, let her rest for at least 3 more days after discharging her" I thank him and wait for him to go out before sitting beside her. "I miss you" I muttered. "I know..." she whispered. "I'm sorry, I didn't came early. I-I feel like I'm the worst boyfriend" I look down not showing her my teary eyes. "Hey, it's not your fault and you're not the worst boyfriend. You love, care and respect me, that's enough for me. I love you" she lift my head up and wipe my tears, "I'm the one that should be sorry, I didn't protect myself enough and I didn't listen to you, I'm sorry" I saw her eyes tearing up so I reach and wipe it out. "It's okay, come here" I stand up and hug her. "NO!, it's not okay...HE TOUCH ME! He touch me! I'm disgusting, why are you touching me? You should be disgusted on me!" She started shouting and pushing me away. I held both her hands firmly but not enough to hurt her and then hug her tight, preventing her on moving. "Let go of me, I don't deserve a boyfriend like you..." she sobbed. "Shhhh...stop saying those things. You are not disgusting, you are beautiful in my eyes. You are the strongest girl I know, I admire you because you're so brave, strong and a loving girlfriend. Always remember that you're very special to me and I would never let him hurt you again. I'm here, I love you" I whispered in her neck and crying seeing her state. "I love you Baby" I whispered one more time feeling her slowly calming down. I carefully lift her up and sit on her bed then put her on top of me. "Rest, you need it" I put her head on my neck and hold her like she's a glass that can break anytime. "Thank you, I love you too" with that she fall asleep. I kiss her forehead and pull her closer.

After a few minutes, I heard a knock and then they come in. "Nik-" I shush her down pointing to Nikki, "she just slept, please don't wake her up" I brush her hair gently, putting strands behind her ear. "What happened? Why her face is red?" I look down and it's true, her nose and cheeks are flustered. "She cried a while ago, saying a lot of things but don't worry, I already calm her down" I look up the see her parents and friends, "Ace, darling, thank you for taking care of her" I smile at them, "it's nothing, I love her that's the least I can do" I carefully put her on the bed then lay her beside me. I grab the comforter and cover us with it.

They sit and waited for her to wake up, it's already 8 in the evening when she woke up. Now she's leaning to me while talking to her friends. "After this can we hang out to the park we used to go to" Shabina suggested. "No, I want to help with the case. I want him behind bars" she coldly said, changing the atmosphere to a serious one. "But baby-" she cut me off by saying, "you told me yourself that I'm a strong and brave woman, that's why I want to help and I want to know everything that happened to me since I blackout" I gulped, by the way she's speaking I can tell she's serious. "Are you sure?" I don't want to tell her but she's stubborn and I know she won't stop. She nod, "Okay..." with that I started telling her my perspective and what I gather from the cctv around the comfort room after that I look at her to see her looking at the wall with no emotion. It make my heart ached seeing her like this. If only I can take her pain away. "Baby, look at me" I turn her head and make her look to my eyes, "We'll make him pay" she nod and nuzzle her head at my neck. "Thank you" she mumbled softly, I just hum. After a few minutes, I feel her breathing becoming even, indicating that she fall asleep.

"We'll go now, are you okay here?" Her parents ask. "I'm fine, I'll stay with her" they kiss her forehead and wave at me before they leave. "Do we really need to talk to her about what happened? It's obviously hard for her" I sigh before looking at him, "Trust me, I wouldn't bring it up if it's not needed but they're the only person there and no one else, we at least need to know what exactly happened. We can't expect that the bastard will tell us the truth" I quietly tell him. I don't want her to wake up.

"Okay then, just be gentle and calm at asking her" I hum and hug her close. "We'll leave now, see you" they stand up and pat me on the back before going out. I fix our position and caress her face. She looks so peaceful when she's sleeping. I love her and I would do anything to make that bastard pay. I sigh and stare outside the window, without noticing, I fell asleep.

I know I haven't been updating but, I have exams and requirements to pass. I don't know when I'll be next updating but I'll TRY Sunday. TRY, okay? I'm not promising. Anyways, have a great day! And love lots!😘💜
