Chapter 6

Crystalline's POV (1 week after the party)
Cass never stop spoiling me, he keeps buying me chocolates and flowers since we started dating. I can sense my sister's jealousy but I ignore her. Cass already knew that she is my sister at first he doesn't believe me but he did.

I'm now sitting at my last period, trying to concentrate to the lesson. Much to my dismay, I just can't. I just want this to end. I decided to surprise Louisa and come to her house. I did come to her house 3 days ago and all we did is talk and laugh.

She became my second mom, I tell her my secrets but the thing about my family I just can't tell her. I'm scared of what she'll think but I really want it out. I want her to give me an advice on what to do.

I was interrupted from my thoughts when the bell finally rang. I get up and fix my things.

I go out and meet with Cass, "Cass, I'm going to Louisa's place" I hug him from behind, "okay, but do you like to go on a date tomorrow?"

I stand in front of him, "of course, we don't have classes tomorrow and I'm free. See you!" I wave him goodbye and start my car then drove off.

When I enter the gates, the guards already know it's me so they just open the door. I park my car and knock, waiting for someone to open the door.
The door opens and the maid lead me to a balcony upstairs, there I see Louisa and her husband.

"Lina! What a surprise! Why didn't you tell us that you're coming?" She hug me and usher me to sit with them. "Do you like anything?" They ask, "Just water, please" I politely said.

The maids give a glass of water and I gladly take it. "What brings you here? Do you need anything?" She ask.

"No, I just want to be here. My family...don't care about me and you do" she took my hands and hug me, "that's not true, mothers would always care for her child" I tear up a little but I quickly wipe it away.

"Did something happened in your home? Did they do something?" I shake my head and look at her, "No, but I feel like they love and like my sister than me. They would always compare us, would always believe her than me, I feel like I'm not their daughter"

"Just give them a chance, why don't you tell them this. You are a kind and sweet child, it's impossible to not love you" she said while wiping my tears. "Plus we can always be your second parents, right?" Giovanni said smiling towards me.

"Of course, but can you tell me about the boy at the ball. You two seem close" I instantly knew who she's talking about.

"Oh, Cass...well he was my friend but he confess to me and want to date me. We're not yet official but since then he's spoiling me with flowers and chocolates" I tell them thinking about him makes me smile.

"What do you think he likes about me?" I ask them out of the blue, "what do you mean? You are gorgeous, sweet, kind, caring and many more" she said looking at me with a smile. "Really? I'm all those?" Am I really what she said I am?

"Yes, who told you that you're not, I will punch in the face" I laugh at her playful face and they laugh also.

We spend all day talking and laughing about random things until the sun sets. "I think I should go" I stand up and go towards Louisa and kiss her on the cheek. "thank you for everything" I tell them.

"It's nothing, you can come back anytime" I walk to him and give him a hug. "Bye, see you!" I go downstairs and enter my car. I start it up then drove off.

When I arrive at the house, everything is dark then I remember, I overheard them talking about going somewhere. I sigh in relief and walk upstairs to my room.

I clean up and cook for myself at the kitchen. Whenever I'm left alone at the house, I would always turn my speaker on and put my playlist into shuffle.

I don't know but I always would know when they are here. I would hear the car stopping or the sound of the car's engine then I would instantly turn off my music.

I put everything away and go downstairs to wash all the dishes then I walk upstairs and look at my closet.

Tomorrow is my first date with Cass and I don't know what to wear. I look around my closet for a while until I found a dress that will fit perfectly.

I hang it up to the door and find my brown sandals and bag to go with it.

When I prepare everything, I went to sleep instantly, excited for tomorrow.
