Crystalline's POV I'm now eating breakfast with mom and dad. "How's work, sweetie?" My mother ask. "It's good" I replied shortly. "I heard something happened yesterday? What is it?" I froze and look at dad. Should I tell them?
"What is it? Come on you can tell us" my mother encourage me. I sigh and put my fork down. "The day that me and Ace go to the mall, Maddy saw me. She was shock that I'm still alive. When I came back work the other day, she came to our company and ask for the CEO which is me. She didn't believe it but then she started getting bitchy. So I told her to get out before I call the guards. Yesterday, she came barging in and accused me being a thief. Saying that I steal her investors but it's not true. They come to me wanting to invest in the company because she lied and betray them. She was about to slap me but Ace got on time to stop her" I leave the part where I cried. I don't want them to worry about me.
"Oh gosh! The nerve that girl have!" My mother mumbled. "It's fine, I can handle her. Mom, I'm going out with Ace later" her eyes widen and look at me. "Really? Do have something to wear? Did you already shave? What makeup look will you use?" She rambled.
"Mom, it's fine. I just want to let you know" she stand up and hug me. "Sorry, I can't believe that you're all grown up" I grin. "Please stop being cringe mom" my father laugh and agreed with me. "She's right, good luck on your date later and enjoy" I pull away and hug dad. "I love you both" they smile and hug me back. "We love you"
After few hours I'm now getting ready, I already take a bath and shaved. I'm putting on my makeup, I go with a simple look. I pick my floral black dress as my outfit and black heels then a black bag.

I put my hair into a bun with hair pieces on the sides of my face. Then I walk downstairs, seeing my parents at the front door talking to I think Ace. "Ace, why didn't you text me that you're here?" I turn to mom and dad, "what are you guys talking about?" I look at them waiting for answer.
"Nothing, sweetheart. Just telling him some things that he should understand and consider, right?" I see Ace nod and offer his hand for me. I take it and wave goodbye to my parents, riding his car.
He drive away and we stay silent. "Where are you taking me?" I ask breaking the awkward silence. "Secret" that all he said. I just sigh and look out. "By the way, you look beautiful" he complimented. "Thank you, and you don't look bad yourself" I replied back.
"So tell me, do you have a sibling?" I ask, deciding to start a conversation. "Not really, a cousin that's like a brother to me, you could say that we are like brothers but no" I nod. We continue talking until we reach our destination.
We're in a restaurant, he came out and go to my side to open my door then offer his hand. I take it and stand up, we walk in and there I see a reception. "Welcome, ma'am and sir. May I ask what's your reservation?"
"Mr. Vazquez" the male check and lead us on our table. The table is on a balcony, overviewing a beach. The sun is about to set that makes the whole dinner romantic. "This are the menus, can I ask what appetizer you want?" I check the menu and order for a cheese garlic bread and he ordered bruschetta. The waiter bows and take his leave. "What do you want for a main dish?" I look at the menu and start checking for anything I want. "I think I'll go for low-carb turkey. How about you?" I look at him and see him looking at the menu. How does one look handsome just by looking at a menu? That normally happens in books, right? "I'll go with Chicken and Pasta Casserole" he settle down our menu and look at me. "Do you like the place?" I look around and nod. "It's secluded and the view is so amazing, I love it" he smiled, "I'm glad you like it" we talk for a couple of minutes until the waiter arrive with our appetizer then start taking our main course. We chatted and laugh about stories from childhood, mostly him talking because I don't experience a lot from my childhood as I'm always on a lockdown before. They don't allow me to go out with them. I'm glad he didn't ask cause I'm sure he notice it.
After about 30 minutes of talking our main course arrive and a red wine which Ace ordered a while ago. After eating, the waiter come again for our dessert, i ordered for a vanilla ice cream with chocolate drizzle on top.
As we finished everything, we take a walk on the beach. I leave my heels inside his car and walk through the sand barefoot. "Did you have a boyfriend before me?" I froze on my spot and look at him.
"Why do you ask?" I sit on a rock and he sit beside me. "I just want to know, if you don't want to tell me then I'll wait" I sigh. I knew he's going to ask me that.
"I do" I look at the stars as I answer him. "Then what happened? Why did you broke up?" He ask curiously. "I was a bet, he use me to be popular. I was a laughing stock before, everyone bully me or ignore me, I don't have friends...I find out about it when I decided to go to the party that he's attending. I heard them talking and saw him make out with a girl" I laugh bitterly. "You know at that time, I was so broken. Then I find out about the bet. Since that day I never see him until at the club where you save me" I look at him to see him looking at me. "What?" He shake his head and put his arm around me. "I don't know what has gotten to him, but you're mine now" I chuckle, "I didn't even answer you yet. How sure are you?"
"I will make you mine, that's a promise to myself" I just chuckle at him. We stay there for a couple of minutes until we decided to go home.
When we arrive, I turn to him. "thank you for today, I enjoyed it" I smile at him and got out. I walk in with a smile on my face. "You look happy, I guess the date goes well" my mother hug me as she see me walk in the living room. "Yeah, it did, I'm gonna go to my room. Good night" I walk upstairs to my room and freshen up. I lay on my bed thinking of everything that happened today. Tomorrow, Shabby will bug me to tell her what happened. I'm sure of that. I put my alarm on then fell asleep.
