Crystalline's POV Today is Sunday which means no work for me, yay! I'm scrolling through my social media when I heard my mom call me. "Someone visited you" I look up and raise an eyebrow, "But I don't expect someone, who is it?" I stand up and walk towards the living room to see Ace. "Oh hello, why are you here?" I ask.
"I thought maybe we could go out?" I look at him puzzled. "Why? I mean I'm free and I don't mind but why?"
"You've been working a lot lately and I think you should have a time out" I think about it and kinda agreed with him. "Where are we going?" I finally ask.
"Do you want to watch a movie?" I was about to shake my head but I remembered that there was this new movie that is out on the cinema that I want to watch. "Wait for me here" then I run upstairs to change.

After changing, I get my bag then do my make up and rush downstairs. "I'm ready!" I reach the front door and smile at him, "let's go?" He nod and lead me to his car. I like it, it's cool. He has taste!
When we arrive at the mall, we go to the cinema area and get our tickets. The movie starts in about an hour, while waiting we bought food and drinks. When the right time comes, we enter the cinema.
After watching the movie, we eat at a cafe and chat. "Do you enjoy the movie?" He ask. "I do, it's been a long time since I had a break. Thank you for taking me out" I gratefully smile at him. "It's nothing" he shyly said making me aww silently, he's cute! We laugh about random things then pay our bills.
We are walking around and just casually talking when I bump on someone. "What the hell? Watch- Crystalline?" I heard a familiar voice ask.
I smirk, "long time no see, Maddy" I look at her shock face and laugh. "How are you still alive? We thought you're dead" I laugh again. "Dead? No, I'm not"
Then someone call her from behind and I saw him. "Maddy, whe- Lina?" They look at me as if they don't believe their eyes.
"Lina, I miss you" then he hug me. I push him away and glare at him, "you don't have the right to touch me, asshole!"
"Now if you'll excuse me, we'll go now" I grab Ace arm and drag him away. "I know you're confuse, but I don't want to talk about it" he nodded and keep silent.
He drive me home and the ride is quiet. No one talk, when we arrive, I look at him. "Thank you for today, see you tomorrow" then I walk out. I enter the house then heard the him drive away.
I go straight to my room and lay down. Thinking of what happened earlier. Yes sister, I'm alive and I want revenge but seems like I don't need to do any work. Cause it's your fault too. Once in a while a few investors of them are going to the company, saying that they don't want to invest in their company. Saying that she is lying and betraying them. Some of them I declined but some of them I agreed.
Me and Ace has been friends but I hadn't told him anything about them. I'm just not ready yet, I don't know if I could trust him like I trust my best friends. He's not in that level yet. I will tell him if he's trustworthy enough.
The next day I'm working on some designs, this is what I do when I don't have papers to sign or read. Then I heard the door opens, "Ace, you're fi-" I stop when I see Maddy.
"What do you want?" I set my papers aside and look at her with a poker face. "I set an appointment with the boss of this company, why are you here?" I smirk so this is what Shabby been telling me about. "Cause I'm the boss" I nonchalantly stated. "What the fuck? How?" I stand up and walk to her, "that's none of your business, can you just leave?" She glare at me, "how dare you talk to me like that your my sister?!" As she said that I see Ace behind her. "What? Sister?" I scoff, "You don't have the right to call yourself my sister, after everything you did, you have no right. I'm a Quinn now, I'm not a Saxon anymore. I forgot about you and anyone of your family" I shouted at her. She walk to me and slap me but I slap her back, "leave or I'll call the guards!" She glare at me, "we are not done yet, I'll make sure you'll suffer!" I laugh maniacally. "Me? Suffer? Try me" with that she stormed off. I sigh and sit down, how dare her call herself my sister?! She's nothing but a stranger to me! I hate her and I will do anything to see her fall.
Just then, flashbacks of what she did to me came right to my face. Since we are kids, she treat me like a no one to her. Now that I finally get up my feet, I will face her without fear!
I feel a hand lift my chin and wipe away my tears that I didn't even notice. I look at the person who did it, it was Ace.
"Don't cry, it doesn't suit you" I push my hair back and sit straight. He pull a chair and sit in front of me. "I didn't know what you've been through but I want you to know that I'm here. You can talk to me, cry on my shoulders if you want to" I look at him, "I don't even know why I'm crying. I'm over it and forget about it but it doesn't fail to make me cry every time I remember what they did. It still hurts even though it's been almost 9 years" I held my face and sob. I don't care if he see me like this. Right now, I need someone to talk to.
I heard him stand up and feel him hug me. After a couple minutes of crying, I stop and look at him, "thank you for listening and comforting me, it helps" he smile and give me his handkerchief. "Here, Wipe your tears" I take it and wipe my face. "What do you want to eat? All on me?" He ask.
"What? We are not going down?" He shake his head no. "Let's just have a take out, your face is swollen. People might accuse me of making you cry" I laugh at his words, "if that's okay with you then fine, I want Korean food. It is okay with you" he nod as a sign for me to continue. "Okay! I want kimchi fried rice, sushi and Tteokbokki . For drinks, mango shake" I beam. I love Korean food so much!
"Can you eat everything?" I nod, "of course I can!" He just chuckle and type something on his phone.
I continue what I'm doing while we wait for the food. When the food came, he paid for it and laid it at the table in the lounge of my office. I rush towards it and eat my food excitedly. "Be careful, you might choke" I ignore him and continue eating. He take his suit jacket, exposing his muscles. I stare at it for a second before I heard him say, "you can take a picture, it's free" I look away and blush. "I'm not staring! Plus I've seen better" I heard him scoff. "And who is this guy?" I heard bitterness in his voice but I ignore it. "Secret!" I'm lying, even my ex boyfriend doesn't have a body like him but I will not tell him that.
After eating we talk about random things until night time came, "Can I take you home?" He ask. "Umm, I have a ca-" he cut me off by saying. "I will take you to work tomorrow, please" I sigh and agreed. "Fine but only because you said please" he smile and help me clean up before taking me to his car then drive me home.
When we arrive, I bid him goodbye and walk in the house. Mom and dad go to Greece, their flight is now so I assume they're gone for a while. I go straight to my room and clean up. I watch a movie before going to sleep.
This is so late but forgive me. I have a lot of work and reviewing to do. Plus the group that I stan is having a lot of performances this week. So I might not update until next week. Keyword: Might. Stay safe and love lots!😘💜
