Just then I hear the clicking of a gun. I looked up to see Zero looking over the ledge of the topmost, his eyes wide and angry, just like mine.

'I smelled the blood of Yuki...' he paused, choking back a little as the overwhelming smell of blood invaded him, causing his eyes to go red. 'which I know very well, and I sensed two purebloods!' He directed the gun straight towards Kaname, a look in his eyes telling me he wasn't afraid to pull the trigger, even if it meant killing him.

'Kuran! You turned Yuki into—'

'Stop it! Zero,' Yuki jumped up from Kaname/s arms, surprising me. She ran in front of him and shielded Kaname with her body. She thought zero wouldn't shoot her, but at this point I wasn't sure how it was going to go down. 'This person is...' Yuki looked down, her face filling with guilt.

'Is... my... brother.'

No way.

No fucking way.

Yuki is that two inch long, pedophile looking beanpole ass's sister?!

I stumbled back a little crashing into someone behind me. I turned to see Moka, holding me steady and looking out at Kaname, her eyes held like stone on him.

'I'm sorry, Zero, Akara-' she looked at me with a sad smile before her body collapsed, the process of turning into a vampire something the majority of people here could understand.

Kaname caught her and picked up her limp body in his arms, shooting a glare at Zero and I.

'Siblings?' Zero breathed out, the gun his his hand shaking. I was frozen. I couldn't move. Yuki was just like me.

Kaname sighed, turning his head up to Zero. 'I would have been happier... if I was born her real older brother.' Kaname smiled a little, almost emotionless, but something guilty looking. 'Your face tells me you don't believe it.' Kaname said to Zero, whose arm was shaking. I wanted to talk, to scream. To kill kaname and to rescue Yuki.

I don't want her to live my life.

'Yuki called you her brother, but you just denied it. What's the truth?' Zero growled.

'There's no question that Yuki is the Kuran's daughter,' kaname turned to me, the red in his eyes fading. 'You're a first level vampire, you should be able to tell too... but,'

Kaname started walking towards me, the only thing holding me back now was Moka's hand on my shoulder, her shaking hand. She was afraid, either of me or of Kaname.

'At the same time, you are on the side of the hunters that try to hunt us down.' he said, more to me than to Zero, his voice going low. His steps walked past me, my eyes following as his coat swished in the winter winds, I could only watch as he carried an unconscious Yuki past me.

'What are you going to do?'

His voice rang out in the cold air, Zero and I stood motionless, staring as the Kuran's disappeared.

He didn't answer Zero's question. Why did Yuki say he was her brother, but then he himself denied it. What was the real truth behind this mess.

Zero jumped down from the top most part of the building, landing harshly but paying no mind to any injuries, instead, approaching Moka and I.

'Did you know about this?' he barked. His gaze was on me, it was behind me. I turned to Moka, who had a guilty look on her face. My eyes widened a fraction. Her reaction to Zero's question was making me nervous. Why wasn't she denying it?

'Did you know about this!?' he roared, the gun going up and pointing directly at her head. She looked to me, searching for sympathy, but I had none. I was with Zero on this, to the very end.
