After an hour of us sitting here, I finally got to the point where my heart was at a normal rate and I could breathe again. I laid in Zero's lap, looking up at the stars, a gust of wind blowing over us.
'You know I love you right?' I say.
'Mmhmm.'
'You gotta say it back!' I teased. He laughed and looked down at me.
'I love you too Akara.' he said, smiling.
'I know you do.' I pat the side of his head. He growls and swats hand away but I manage to get one more in before he grabs my wrist and pins me down, irritated.
I looked at him with a flirtatious smile and using my spare hand, pulled him down and kissed him. He made a noise that sounded like a surprise, his hand releasing my wrist. I let him go, his head pulling away and him gasping for breath.
'That's how much I love you~' I cooed, my fingers brushing the side of his face.
'That's it?' he smirked, looking down at me, an evil and extremely familiar glint in his eyes.
'Zero was in the middle of a forest sitting in dirt, no!' I pushed his face away from mine and sat up.
He pushed my hand away but kept holding it, looking a little annoyed.
'Come on, we both need sleep, and I need to show you our room, get up.' I hauled myself up and held out my hand for him, who very promptly stood up without my other hand to help him. Aweee.
I then squeezed my eyes shut and boom, back in the room.
'Akara.' Zero deadpanned, looking at how different the room was. 'How the hell—'
'I went on a little shopping spree with Aido and decided to revamp the place.' I said, going over to the bed with fresh bed sheets and falling into the bed, letting myself get enveloped by the sweet scent of roses. AIdo was so right about the bedsheets.
'This is a little more than a revamp.' zero grumbled, opening up the closets. 'How the hell do you have so many clothes?!' he yelled out.
'Shh! It's like 2 am Zero! We do have neighbours!' I harshly whispered to Zero, putting my finger over my lips.
'Yeah yeah, like I care. How much did you even spend on all this junk?' He said, tapping on the glass that was probably the glass cabinet filled with random things. Most of it was manga or figurines, but I had one shelf dedicated to the weird and absolutely absurd things Aido and I found. Yeah, an entire shelf.
'I think like 250 million yen or something?' I say, shrugging my shoulders.
'WHAT?!' Zero flipped around and threw the thing in his hand at me, landing on my stomach with a painful slap. I groaned and picked up the thing that he threw at me. The fucking diamond duck.
'Zero it's okay I can spend that much money, I'm uber-rich now, remember?' he pinched the bridge of his nose, closing the cabinet door and sighing heavily.
'You're a pain.' he groaned, falling down onto the bed next to me.
'But I'm your pain~' I teased, rolling over and hugging him.
'Ugh get off!' He attempted to pry my arms away from him but my strength outmatched him, so it wasn't much of a contest.
We laughed at each other, fighting in bed as Zero tried to scramble away from my grasp but I held him with great determination, trying to not let him move a budge.
After a while, we finally settled into bed with Zero giving up. We both got changed into one of the new pyjama sets I got us, extremely expensive Chinese silk, and just I was hoping for, it was perfect.
