Part 22

(The Khan's have a wonderful dinner and night celebrating with Faadilah, Mike and Chris. Unfortunately everything comes to an end, and everyone decides it is time to go home. Once again, they all congratulate Faadilah and say good night)>

(Faadilah starts her new job and is absolutely loving it. It is almost like she gets to be her own boss with the position she was given. Time goes on and things get really busy at work. Faadilah is feeling really tired and worn out. Faadilah  has been at her job for almost 6 months, she knows she isn't used to working but she thought that she would be used to it by now. As the days go by, she goes to bed early but still feels tired and sluggish the next day. Mike suggests that she go to the doctor to see if anything is really wrong. Faadilah makes an appointment. Rose decides to go with her because she is also worried about her daughter.)

Mike and Faadilah pick up Rose and they head to the doctor. Mike has to go back to work so he drops them off. They enter the doctor's office but there is a half hour wait even though they made an appointment.

Rose- Sweetie, how are you feeling?

Faadilah- I feel okay, I just feel really tired and my body is kind of sore, sometimes.

Rose- Well we are here now, so hopefully the doctor can figure it out.

Doctor- Khan? Faadilah Khan?

Faadilah- That's me. Can my mother come in, please?

Doctor- Sure. Okay so what symptoms are you or have you been feeling?

Faadilah - I've been feeling really tired lately, but I recently started a job and maybe I am still getting used to it. I don't know?

Doctor- How long ago did you start this job?

Faadilah- It's been about six months or more now.

Doctor- Do you feel any other symptoms besides being tired?

Rose- Sweetie, make sure you tell the doctor everything you've been feeling okay?

Faadilah- I am mom. Just tired and my body is sore, but only sometimes.

Doctor- Okay, I am going to run some tests, blood, urine and blood pressure okay?

Faadilah- Okay.

Doctor- I will get the nurse and be back soon.

(Nurse performs all necessary tests the doctor outlined. Nurse informs Faadilah that the results will be back in a couple of days).

Faadilah- Mom do you think something is really wrong?

Rose- No sweetie, this is the standard protocol when people aren't feeling well. We just have to wait to see what those tests say, you know it could be nothing. Maybe you are just really tired.

Faadilah- Well, I don't want to take time off work, after all I only started not too long ago.

Rose- I know but if you need a day depending what the doctor says then you may have too. Just provide them with a note from the doctor. Everyone gets sick some time or other.

Faadilah- I know. Mike said he will be here in 15 minutes to pick us up. I told him I am going to your house for a bit and he will come pick me up there after he is done work. Is that okay mom?

Rose- Of course, sweetie.

(MIke shows up 15minutes late to pick Faadilah and Rose up. He asks if they found anything out and Faadilah informs him that they have to wait until the tests come back in a couple of days. Mike is determined to know what is wrong with his wife. After dropping them off Mike returns to work and Faadilah and Rose spend the rest of the afternoon together chatting and helping Rose prepare dinner. Her sister is home as well so Faadilah makes sure to spend some time with her as well).
