So you just get a new book, you're so excited to read when-
"MEGHAN! ARE YOU READY? WE'RE LEAVING!"
"But MOM! I just got a new book I want to read!"
"Too bad, we're going to be late."
"Well can I at least bring it?"
"No you can't bring it! You can't be anti-social, you have to talk to people!"
"I can talk to my book characters."
"Real people!"
"THEY ARE REAL PEOPLE, THEY ARE TO ME!"
And basically you can't read because you aren't going to be home and you actually have to talk to people.
I know, it sucks.
