99. When people pull the "I read it first" card.
Okay, firstly that's extremely immature.
I don't care if you read it first, that doesn't mean you like the book anymore than me, or know about the book anymore than me.
I could argue that I actually know more about the book because it's fresher in my mind, but whatever.
Time doesn't affect interest, interest affects interest.
You could have read a book 5 years before I did and hate it, if I want to talk about that book and you go on saying "OH I READ THAT FOREVER AGO" and brag about how you know the story better or some shiz,
I may just slap you.
I'm going to relate this to bands for a quick second,
Let's say we have someone who's been listening to this band since the start, when they were barely even famous.
Now, we have someone who just found out about this band and basically fell in love, they're listening to all their songs because they think they're good.
Finally, the second person talks about this new band she found out about and how great their music is, the first person shouldn't bash them just because, "they were there first."
See band fangirls, we can relate.
On a final note, if you are one of those people who shames others who read a book, or did anything that you did first, don't make them feel bad for it, just be happy you have someone to share the feels with!
Sharing is caring.
OMG WHAT ONLY TWO MORE REASONS LEFT?!?!?!?! WOOOOOOAAAAHHHHHHH.
