Part 28- The date

------------------Readers pov---------------------------------

Due to the missing curtains in the twins rooms, the bright morning sun forced my eyes to open. I can tell that it's quite early as the sun hasn't reached a high point in the sky. I listened to the light sound of the birds chirping outside. Although he is fast asleep, Freds arms still warmly wrap around me. As I gently lift myself to sit up in the bed, moving from the before laying position, Fred moved, snuggling into my stomachs height. 

I looked down admiring the faint freckles that surround his face. His messy bed hair covers his eyes. I lightly pushed the fallen hair from his face, causing him to move slightly. His eyes begin to slowly open, adjusting to the bright mornings light. 

"Sorry. Didn't mean to wake you" I whispered 

"It's okay" he replied rubbing his hands against his eyes "Where you watching me sleep?" he teased. 

"You looked cute"

"and you look gorgeous" he reached to place a soft kiss on my cheek, before moving back to the cuddling position. "Our first official date will be tonight by the way" 

"I'm excited. Even though I have no clue what you have planned for me" 

I really didn't.

"I've been planning it with Ginny and George and I really hope you like it" 

"I'm sure I will love it" I told him "at some point I will have to know where it is you want me to go" 

"I wanted to send you an owl and make it all mysterious and cool, but with Umbridge checking all the mail I'll probably get Hermione or Ginny to tell you" 

"Can I at least get a clue?" I asked 

"Nope. No can do. Top secret" 

"Maybe Ginny will tell me. You know how she is with keeping secrets" I teased him, causing him to instantly regret involving his sister "I'm joking. I'll make sure she doesn't spoil it by telling me" I assured him. 

He sighed in relief. 

Although I really want to know, I won't spoil the fun for him. I don't usually enjoy surprises, but it's Fred so I will make an exception. 

As Georges alarm painfully rings through our ears, we take it as the sign to get up and ready for breakfast. We still have our lessons to go through before tonight's plans. 

Sneaking around tonight without getting caught will be quite the challenge, but when your boyfriend is one of the previous owners of the marauders map, you will manage to find some way around this. Before giving the map away to Harry in third year, the two made sure that they had memorised every tunnel and pathway that lead in, out and around the school. 

I moved over to go get changed in the bathroom. 

Spending almost every night away from my original room ended up in me practically moving in. Everything that I needed was here and ready for me. 

"Fred! Is my tie out there?" I called out as I finished changing into my robes and realise it is missing. 

"Here you go" Fred peaked his head through the slightly open door. "Can I come in?"
