Part 24 -Quidditch trials

-So this may be the last chapter until after Christmas. I hope you all have the a great Christmas and a happy new year x 

It has been a tough year for everyone, so I wish you all a better one in 2021

"Good morning beautiful" Fred help me tight in his grip. His gentle smile looked down at me. 

"How long have you been up?" I began burying my face into his chest, hiding my eyes from the piercing light 

"About ten minutes" he laughed at my actions "you looked so peaceful. I didn't want to wake you" 

"Why is it so bright?" I complained, causing him to laugh once again. 

"Oh yeah. George and I broke the curtains" 

"I'm not even going to bother asking how you did that" I laugh with him 

"Now that's the happy Y/n I like to see" Fred drew me in closer, placing a soft kiss on my temple. 

"What's the plan for today?" I asked 

"There's Quidditch trials" he responds "We don't have to try out for the team, since we have been on it for years but we have to show up and play" 

"Anyone we know who's going?" 

"Ron is. He's going for Olivers spot as keeper" he tells me 

"Aw little Ronnie. I hope he makes the team. Is he any good?" I've seen Ron playing around with the others back at the borrow, but never really looked into it to much. He mainly just took over the free spot, due to the boys not letting Ginny play. They for some reason, weren't too keen on her playing the game. 

"He's good when he wants to be. He gets a little nervous but i'm hoping he makes the team" he turned to me, knowing that what he said about his brother was actually nice "Don't tell him I said that. Wouldn't want him thinking I care or something" he tried to play it off. 

"It's not bad to be nice to your siblings you know" I laugh at him 

"but if I'm not mean, it wouldn't be as fun" he grins. I begin worming my way out of his arms, attempting to get out of the bed and go get ready. "Where are you off too?" he pouts 

"You don't expect me to go watch in my pyjamas" he looks my up and down, then smiles 

"I personally think you look amazing" 

"Why thank you Freddie" I give him a little twirl. He laughs 

"I'm surprised you want to come today" he continues to not take his eyes off me

"Got to come support my favourite red heads" I move over to him, ruffling his hair. He wraps his hands around my waist and pulls me quickly into a deep kiss. 

"Now you go get ready. I'll see you downstairs in a bit" he grins, pulling away from the kiss. I place a quick peck on his lips before turning to the door to leave. 

I reached the girls dorms, still in my pyjamas. Ginny and Hermione were already awake. Hermione was dressed and reading through a book, unlike Ginny who was still lying in bed. "Hey guys" I down on my already made bed.

"Did you just come from Freds room" Ginny squealed in excitement. Hermione continued scanning her book. 

"Not like that" I laugh at her excitement 

"I'm guessing your bed will be free more often" Hermione tries to stay serious but lets out a small smile at me. 

"Not all the time" I over to her "got to have some time with my girls. Besides, if I spend too much time with Fred we might end up murdering each other" They both laugh. I place my trunk onto the bed and begin changing into some comfy clothes. I finish changing outfits and fixing my messy bed hair.
