Part 34- The third one

Being back at Hogwarts gave me some hope the days would look better from now on if we only gave it time. With the cursed defence against dark arts job you'd think Umbridge wouldn't last longer than a year, however my start to our after Christmas arrival ended with another detention for punching Malfoy in the face. Don't get me wrong he deserved it so much. I just wish he wasn't so liked by that old toad. 

It was now Monday and the day we would go back to lessons. The sun was shining brightly through the open dorm room curtains, bringing Fred and I to wake. 

"Good morning" I looked to my side where Fred still had his arms around me. The warmth of his body surrounding the air around me. 

"Morning beautiful" he placed a soft kiss on my temple "How did you sleep?" 

"Good actually. How did you sleep?" 

"Alright" he moved from the position and face me with a concerned look "Can I tell you something?" 

"Of course. What's up?" 

"I don't want you to go tonight... to see Umbridge" 

"Fred you know I have to" 

"I know, but I don't want her hurting you again" Fred's face became flushed with a pink shade 

"Fred, i'll be fine. You don't have to worry" 

"Of course I worry about you" 

"I'm used to these detentions of hers by now and I need you to not worry." 

"Yeah well It's a lot harder than that Y/n" Freds tone became bitter 

"What are you two arguing about?" asked George who had awoke and was now sitting up in his bed with his hair all out of place. 

"Nothing" huffed Fred, pulling off the covers and getting up from the bed, leaving me out of his grip so fast. 

George looked to me with a look just as confused as I was. I shrugged and shook my head back at him. 

"Well I'll get ready then" I told them, whilst Fred moved off into the bathroom without a second look "I-I'll just go back to my dorm and get my things. I'll see you downstairs in a bit" 

Before I left George threw another confused glance in my direction.  

I moved out from the bed, through the door and down the spiral stone stairs down to the common room. The room was half filled with younger years already up and ready for breakfast. 

After going up to my original girls' dorm room and getting dressed, Hermione, Ginny and I went back down to the common room. 

We were waiting on the usual sofa next to the extinguished fire place waiting for the others to come down and join us. 

Hermione was nose deep into a book she had gotten for Christmas and Ginny and I were talking away about lessons we had laid out for us today. 

"We have double potions today" I told Ginny as I flicked back over my time table. 

"I have care for magical creatures" 

"Lucky. We don't have that until Wednesday" 

"Are you up for studying later?" asked Hermione, finally looking up from her book.

"Can't. Got to see Umbridge remember" I reminded her

"Well, we can study at lunch then" said Hermione
