Part 22- Umbridge

-Hey guys. Hope your all doing well. Just finished drafting this chapter so hope you all enjoy and like the story so far xx

The next day finally came along. It had felt like forever to arrive. I had quite a sleepless night after being woken, once again, by the same nightmare. 

"I'm worried about you Y/n" Hermione joined me in the common room, taking a seat beside the fireplace "you were crying in your sleep again."

"I just keep having the same nightmare" I begin to tell her but hesitate

"It's okay. You can tell me anything. You know that right?"

"Of course. Thank you" I smile back at her lightly 

"So tell me. Whats the dream?"

"So basically, in the dream Fred and I are stuck in this dark room. We are joined by-" I hesitate to say his name "you know who and he calls me these horrible things and Fred a traitor for being with 'my kind'. Then he turns to Fred and-" I stopped as tears began to form 

"oh Y/n" she brought me into a hug "you have to tell Fred" 

"I know, but I don't want to scare him. He might think I've gone mad" 

"He won't think your mad" she interrupted "have you seen how he looks at you? He adores you. Honestly I wish you would see that"

"How am I supposed to tell him though?"

"Tell who what?" Fred popped up behind us with a grin on his face "not cheating on me are we y/n?"

"No. Nothing like that" I turned to face him 

"I'll be at breakfast" Hermione got up from her seat before silently mouthing 'talk to him'

"So what's up?" Fred took the seat beside me

"You have to promise me that you won't think I'm mad" 

"Am I gonna have to send you to an asylum?" he laughed

"Fred!"

"Oh shit. This is a serious conversation?" his smile dropped 

"Yes Fred. It is." I began to explain the dream to him. Tears formed in my eyes once again. I looked over to Fred who looked the same as I felt. He was clearly trying to hold back tears as I continued "You think I'm crazy don't you?" he turned to me with his face still in shock, trying to process what I had said. 

"I don't think your crazy" he took my hand into his "Your scared. We all are. I just want you to know that I'm not going anywhere. You're stuck with me for life." we both laughed a little as he tried to brighten the mood. "I love you. No matter what scary dream you have."

"I love you too Fred" 

"Oh shit. We just went there didn't we" he laughed before pulling me into a kiss "You really are special to me. I hope you know that" 

"I do" he wrapped me into one of his warm hugs. His scent filled me, causing me to feel a lot better.

"Now how about we get some food? You know how Ron is. He might start assuming things if we are gone for too long"

Once we reached the great hall, I felt a lot less stressed after speaking to Fred. "Ready for your lesson with Umbridge today Y/n?" Ginny asked as Fred and I took a seat at the table 

"I've decided that I will go into the lesson positively" I began piling food onto my plate "besides, we have Snape to deal with first and her the period after"

"Good luck with that" George scoffed "We all know he hates us lot, Especially Harry here"

"He doesn't hate us" They all turned to me confused "okay maybe he hates us a little, but we have to deal with him for another two years. Unlike you two."
