🖤 20**Nomusa**
We at the mall shopping for some groceries. My sister is busy with our toiletries with my nephew while I’m busy with the snacks for our braai.
I go to them and bump into someone who smells divine dropping everything I had on me.“I am so sorry.” I apologise and start picking up my things.
“Let me help you with that.” His voice is so sexy and his cologne is driving me insane. I look up and find him smiling at me…our hands touch and I feel an electric shock going straight to my heart.
“Nomusa are you done.” My sister shouts from the other aisle and disturbs our moment.
“Yes…got everything on the list" I gently yank my hand from him and he smiles. Shit he has dimples also. Our babies will be so cute.
“Woza ke.” She shouts and I go join them. When I look back he is nowhere to be seen. There goes my husband.
Sigh.
“What took you so long…we still need to fix the laptop.” She can be dramatic sometimes.
We pay and drop off my laptop at the repair shop and leave. She is still driving her boyfriend’s SUV and she looks sexy in it. One day I will buy it for her. I get a text from an unknown number and I get nervous.
*May I please take you out for dinner*
I don’t know the number so I ignore it and connect my phone via Bluetooth to listen to music and she complains.
“Hhai can’t we have some peace and quiet tu.” She rolls her eyes.
“Sisi please act your age … don’t be like mom.” She gives me the eye. Lwandle and I laugh at her. I get another text from the same number.
*Tell your sister to switch on her phone. And reply my first text*
What the fuck!
I look around to check if maybe we being followed or something but there’s nothing. I panic.
“What’s wrong.. you look like you’ve seen a ghost.” She asks looking worried.
“Uhm nothing…is your phone off.”
“Yes… I wanted to spend some time with you guys and with no interruptions.” She lies. I know she’s ignoring him. I decide to text back my stalker.
*you do know that stalking is a crime… stop texting me!*
We drive home and now I can’t stop thinking about the texts. Who can it be.

**Nobuhle**
I’m taking my kids away from that man. Its time. I was in love with his brother and my stupid self slept with him and got pregnant. My parents forced us to get married.
“Sakhile…please keep an eye on your sister I’m coming back just now.” I make my way to the reception I don’t want to use any of our phones. That man can be ruthless when he wants too.
“Morning can I please use your phone if you don’t mind.” I smile
“Yes sure go ahead.” She gives me the phone and I dial my mothers number and it rings four times before she answers.
“Mama"
“Nobuhle where are you…your husband has been calling us since yesterday.”
“Mama can you please book tickets for me and the kids…we coming home and I don’t want Vusi to know.”
“No…Nobuhle you can’t be running away from your marriage.”
“Mama he is cheating again.” I whisper.
“Where are you…I will send someone to fetch you and the kids stay there.” She hangs up.
My mother was a cop. She made me stay and forgive him the first and second time he cheated on me but told me to never settle for less. That’s what I’m doing now I’m not settling for anything less.
I go back to my room and check on my kids before switching back on my phone… there are tons of messages from him but I ignore them and text my mother our address and room number and switch off my phone again.

**Nompumelelo**
It’s Saturday and we decided to have a braai. Nomusa, my son and I went to get the meat and snacks for the braai.
We on our way back home and I catch my sister panicking after she reads a texts from her phone.“What’s wrong…you look like you’ve seen a ghost.” I ask her and she brushes me off.
“Uhm nothing…is your phone off.”
“Yes… I wanted to spend some time with you guys and with no interruptions.” She nods and text someone on her phone again.
I think my suspicions were right. The car in front of us has been following us since we drove out from mall. I must give it to them though driving in front so we won’t suspect anything.
When we pass the robot I overtake them stopping right in the middle of the road ... getting off to confront them.
“Sisi yini manje.” Musa asks and I ignore her and I’m so glad my son is sleeping peacefully at the back.
“Why are you following us.” I ask the guy through his window and if I’m not mistaken it’s the same guy Nomusa bumped into.
“How am I following you if you were driving behind me.” He says matter of fact and I chuckle.
“You better stop your nonsense and you will stop texting my sister if you know what’s good for you!” I threaten him my voice slightly high. And he widened his eyes.
“Sisi what’s wrong.”
“Get back in the car Nomusa and block that number!” I shout at her.
We get in the car and I start the engine and we drive off.
Lord I hope he won’t follow us again.
