Chapter four

What Mikala looks like when shifted ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
Zen's POV

I watched as Miss. Moon rushed out of the class room. She was in a hurry. I was in her mind when her pack beta mind linked her. War. She cannot die.

'Then go help. She doesn't know who you are when your shifted.' Toby said tailing me out of the class room. I agreed.

'Mikala time to go. We got a war to finish.' I said getting in my bike. Mikala came running out of the entrance doors.

"Where we headed?" She asked getting into her truck.

"Home then we go shifted." I yelled as I took of towards home. The drive seamed longer than normal. My mate was in danger and I was not going to let her die. At least I know she's not normal so it shouldn't be that hard to tell her who I am.

We came to a stop and I shifted right away. I heard Kay shift to. Toby jumped into my back. I nodded at Kay and we graced the sky's. Flying at the speed of fighter jets.

I searched for my mates signal. I saw a clearing where small figures were fighting. We started our decent. We got closer still few saw us. When I touched down I noticed I was almost twice as tall of any of them. Two stood out to me that were larger than the rest.

There was a big grey wolf brutally attacking a big black wolf. Mate. I let out a loud growl. My mate was injured. I sprinted to the grey wolf as he was about to snap at her neck. Mikala went out fighting the grey wolfs pack.

The grey wolf shook his head and looked at me. I stood over my mates body who was ok just injured. I let out a louder growl feeling the earth shake. The grey wolf met my growl. I took a fighting stance over my mate.

He launched at me as I swiped my massive paw that was almost the size of his head knocking him on to the ground. I threw my self at him clawing and biting where ever I could. I heard another cry of pain. This one was from Mikala. I looked over to see her battling six wolves.

With out hesitation I ran over there tackling two to the ground. Killing them with one strike to the neck. I turned around to see a wolf striking my face. The cut was deep and it hurt like a bitch.

I looked at him I lunged for his neck. I locked my jaw till he stopped moving. The crimson liquid was all over me. I was tackled to the ground by a grayish wolf. He bit and snapped at my chest getting me a few times before I successfully got him off. Toby who had now grown to full size squashed the wolf under his massive paws.

I got up and went to defend my mate as a wolf was getting closer to her now standing form. He leapt at her she barley got out of the way in time. I finally reached him tackling him to the ground. Rolling a few times I finally found my footing and started to advance on my opponent who was trying to get up from that massive blow.

I roared loud enough to be heard for miles. Every one froze. I walked to the wolf and bit his throat. He dies instantly. The pack took its remaining survivors and left. I looked at my mate. She was weak. She looked at me. Our eyes meet. Then the next thing I know is that I'm on the ground. I look up to see that she had pinned me to the ground. She looked like she was gonna bite my head off. I shook my head.

'Zen what's going on?' Mikala said in my mind. 'Do I attack?' She asked

'No, just wait' I said as the big black wolf kept studying me. I opened my mind to her. She enters right away.

'I am not a threat. I saved your life.' Said out loud in my mind. She looked up at me as if she knew my voice.

'Zen?' She asked almost scared. I could tell she was really weak. She was barly holding on. I nodded. Relieve flooded her eyes. Then she collapsed on top of me. I let out a shaky breath as she shifted back into her normal form. I used my wings and folded them around her.

'That was romantic' Toby said.
Walking up to my face. I rolled my eyes.I focused my energy into healing her wounds and covering her body in cloths. I didn't have to worry about it because I shifted with clothes  so when I shift they will still be there.

Once she was healed and clothed I shifted. I was still covered in blood. She remained on top of me. I slid her off and gently picked her up bridal style.

"Who is your second in command?" I asked to the wolfs. A tan wolf walked forward.

"Take me to her quarters." I demanded he began walking through the woods. We came to a log cabin with in a few minutes. We enters and went up some stairs. He stopped out side a door. I assumed it was her bed room. I walked inside. I gently laid her in the bed.

I brushed some hair out of her face. I shifted mid air out of the window.i flew into the sky spring high above the sky. The bad think about my powers is I can't heal my self. I heal faster than normal but I can't heal my self like I did to Miss. Moon. Mikala could sense this as we flew.

'Are you ok?' She asked flying next to me so Toby could jump on my back.

'Yea some dumb ass got a good hit at me in the face think I bruised my cheek bone and bruised a rib. ' I replied knowing it was going to be visible tomorrow.

We flew in silence the rest of the trip. When we got home I went strait to sleep. My body was worn out.
