If I'd have let my walls come down,
I guess you'd have taken me
To a time when I was unbroken.
You'd have saved me from myself,
Cause I was going crazy own my own.If I did not open another beer,
Somehow I'd have memorized
How your heart beat in your chest,
When you said you'd come and dance the night away.
Oh! How i'd have made you touch our stars. The moon was reflected in your coffee,
When I made you love my sins,
God forgive me if I did not want you to save me.
Then you kissed me right into my soul,
It scared me but I let you.
Still my walls remained high and great. We were love drunk,
Only the sounds of our love could be heard.
The fireflies came dancing to our music,
There you crumbled like my favorite pastry,
In my arms .
I stared at you like a love sick puppy,
I swear it was the beer.
And an angel died
Covered with the magic we had created.
