When change decide to come,
She won't tell you,
She will creep in slowly ,
And shamelessly then hit like
How lake Victoria kisses the Mingingo island. When change arrives,
She won't prepare you,
You might not even like her,
Yet she will mock you with her soft unspoken beauty. When change arrives,
And you say hello to her ,
You will be in class six.
She will paint your face with acnes,
And make you look
Like a frog in your head. And boy,
You won't like what you see in the mirror,
You will religiously bake your face , Into a buffet every morning,
Thinking to yourself,
A slice of mascared eyes,
Will hypnotized a one tall Dennis who sits behind you.
Or maybe painted vamp lips
Will taste like his favorite candy in his mouth. When change arrrives ,
You will be sitted
On your parent's couch .
Watching tv,
Again your parents tv.
A program about corrupt leaders, Bluffing on how they will 'build the nation',You will look at a row
Of unanswered job emails,
As you think about
Your place in this chaotic world.
Maybe you cook your CV wrong, Maybe you add too much salt,
Maybe it's your crooked teeth,
Maybe It's your bitch attitude,
That's why nobody wants to eat from it,
When change arrives,
Maybe you will cook it again, tomorrow for the twentieth
Time and whatever happens happen. When change arrives,
And you don't like her,
Take her out,
Get her drunk
Maybe have a one night stand,
Then dump her.When change arrives,
And you end up liking her,
Take a deep breath,
Soak her all in,
And brace yourself for unending magical entanglement.
