Overthinking feels like like your thoughts are on a rollercoaster,
They keep rising and rising,
To a point where you feel like screaming.
Then they go down and become quite
And you can do nothing about it.It's like you are chasing shadows,
Conversing with voices bigger than you.
The voices keep drowning each other
And you don't know,
Which one to listen to.Your thoughts are like a sledging thresh,
New and sharp with many teeth
They first cut through your subconscious
Then crash and reduce it into numbness. When you are overthinking,
You are on some sort of crossroad,
You can either self harm or self calm.
You are at a place where ,
Your own thoughts are unstoppable.
They keep taking
And taking your sanity
Until all you can do is
Recite your cliche mantra,
''It's going to be okay"
