What will
She make
Of a world,That rejects
That gives pain
That silences small voicesThat narrows a door
When she looks wide
That is easy to feel helplessnessThat pays
No attention
To her heartThat holds her hands
Side to side with roaring stormsThat does not
Want to be repaired
Or built at allIt shall be,
She will be herself
Even when she is no one
Even when she is not
Written down in history
Even when she has to
Speak so that she doesn't look stupidAnd the world,
As it is,
She will step into it,
Rather than wait outside
And find out
What it's really
Carrying inside.
