"No matter the circumstances, never raise your voice at your husband."

Halima remembers her mother's statement and closes her eyes willing herself to calm down. She slowly unclenches her fists and opens her eyes then puts on a sweet smile on her face.

"Sweetheart, I'm sorry. I didn't mean to raise my voice at you." Halima apologizes going over to hold Sa'eed's hand.

"It's okay, I expected a worse reaction from you. Anyways, please don't speak, I need you to listen to me quietly." Halima nods, gulping. The way Sa'eed is speaking is giving her bad goosebumps. She feels as if something is about to go horribly wrong, or maybe it's just the medications.

"Aleesha's parents threw her out." Sa'eed pauses, waiting for a reaction from Halima. When she doesn't give any, he continues.

"Her friend, I'm sure you've heard of her, Humylash, the famous chef and blogger threw her out of her house because of something she wants to keep to herself, so she asked if she could stay here before she finishes her work here and go back to the states, and I said okay." The last part makes Halima inhale sharply, closing her eyes. So it really wasn't the medications, something really was about to go wrong.

"It's your house, you can bring in anybody." Halima shrugs surprising Sa'eed, he was expecting her to throw a tantrum.

"Why are you looking at me like that?" Halima asks wearily. With the way Sa'eed is looking at her, one would think she said heaven is underground or that horses can walk on one leg.

"Nothing, I'm just surprised. So please, Halima show her to the guest room close to your room. Please Leesh, make yourself at home." Sa'eed smiles and walks outside. Wordlessly, Halima stands up and starts walking up the stairs. Aleesha quietly follows her, taking in every detail of the house. She scrunches her nose up at some things she sees, she'll change them all, once she becomes the woman of the house, which would be in one month's time as calculated by Lash.

"Wait here, let me get the key." Halima walks into her room and comes out minutes later. She walks a little farther away from her room and stops at a door. She opens it and removes one of the keys then hands it over to Aleesha. Wordlessly, she walks away again.

Aleesha looks around the room, lying down on the bed, she smiles. She has gotten into the house, effortlessly. Trapping Sa'eed in her love web wouldn't be hard. She just needs to set her ball rolling. Opening her bag, she brings out a white substance then walks out. She meets Halima watching something in the television while throwing a milk-sugar delicacy called gullisuwa in her mouth at intervals.

Aleesha walks back and enters Sa'eed and Halima's room quietly, she quickly takes a note of all the products Halima uses. From her shampoo, conditioner, hair cream, body lotion, down to her toothpaste.

She opens the perfume container which clearly belongs to Halima because of its chocolate-y scent then pours the whole substance in it. She closes it back and walks out casually as if she didn't just take the first step to ruining someone's life.

She goes back to her room and texts Lash with the names of all the products she uses and what she uses it for. Once she's done, she smiles triumphantly and leaves her phone to charge before making sure her door is locked.

Taking a nice hot bubble bath, she dresses in a black silky night gown before laying on the soft bed to sleep. Step one, taken.

Lash pays for the products and walks to her car, she's stopped by a Salam from a deep husky voice which involuntarily sends shivers down her spine, making her weak in the knees.

What the f*ck?!

Lash turns to face the man and the first thing she notices is his full eyebrows, then the dark orbs staring at her as if they can see all the evil intentions she has, those orbs can make any girl weak at the knees, and any man cower in fear.

Then his slightly plump kissable pink lips. Oh my Gawd! Not to forget the slightly crooked nose. Trying hard not to fall as her knees are failing her, Lash clears her throat to wipe out any bad thought and straightens herself, leaning on her car for support.

"Ameen wa alaikas salam." Lash replies making him chuckle, sending another family of shiver bugs down her spine, tingling her at the waist then weakening her at the knees. Oh God has she said it wrong? What would he think of her? No no no. But since when does she care about what a man thinks of her?

"I didn't know the beautiful woman had a beautiful voice that makes me want to dream all night." The man says making her blush slightly before she frowns, she can't give him the wrong impression.

"Look mister, i don't have all day. What do you want?" He chuckles again, gawd! Can he please stop chuckling?

"I just want to your name." He smiles. God. She can look at that sinfully beautiful smile all day.

"Aisha Humaira, you can call me Lash or Humylash." Lash opens her car door and enters, revving the car she attempts to step on the pedal when a knock on her window stops her. Rolling down the window she frowns again, albeit she's doing a mini happy dance in her head.

The brings his face awfully close to hers, one wrong move, their lips would be brushing. Staying still, Lash tries to calm her heart that seems like it's about to break out of her chest. He opens his mouth and says something her brain didn't comprehend because it is too busy concentrating on his breath, ginger with just the right amount of cinnamon. How? Just how is he doing this?

"Did you hear what i said?" He asks, a hint of smile on his lips. She shakes her head making him chuckle.

Please don't stop.

"I said expect a message from me." He says and before she can nod he has moved away making her miss his breath fanning her lips.

She gulps and rolls up her window, totally forgetting her destination. She steps on the pedal and drives away. Thinking about the past few minutes, a small smile appears on her lips.

Did a guy just make her smile? Oh no, Aisha Humaira you're officially fucked up!
