"Have you heard that there is an upcoming dance, this Friday at 8 o'clock. Everyone will be there. And I have no one to go with to the dance. I bet you won't make me suffer alone will you?" I ask. "What are you saying?" She asks with a cheeky grin. "Well, I was thinking maybe you could go with...me...as a...er...date. Please?" I ask her. She smiles and nods. "What have I said about the nodding, you can speak with me. You silly..." I try to say, but there's a knock on the door. I try to look, to see who it is. Holy sh....

"Hello Carre," Raymond says. She nods and looks down. I tense, my jaw clenches. Carre lays her head on my shoulder, my arms clutch her to me. My tensing eases a little bit. "How is she?" He asks. "We don't know yet, the doctors haven't visited yet, neither have the police. But right now it looks like she's in deep pain. She wakes up every now and then in pain. The meds they give her to make her sleep most of the day." She says crying a little bit.

I pull her into me a little bit more. "When did this happen?" He asks. Talking about me and Carre. "Over the past few weeks," I say looking at Carre while saying it. She looks back at me. "Let's go talk outside, shall we?" Raymond asks. "Yeah, sure." I pick up Carre by the waist. She squeals a bit. "Shh," I say laughing, I put her back on the chair, "be right back," I said with a wink.

When we get outside, he means outside. Like outside the hospital. I face him. "What were you thinking!" He yells at me. "I wasn't. Like when you put her mom in the hospital, I bet you didn't think about that. Did you?" I ask, anger boiling up inside me. "No, actually I didn't. I was drunk." He says. "So, I was right? Is that what you're saying?" I asked. "Yes but, I didn't mean to." He says. I clench my teeth. "Do want to want to know the difference between my difference between my relationship with you and Carre's mom and, my relationship with Carre?" I asked him. "Yeah actually. Tell what's different." He says. "I actually love her. I love Carre, I don't use her for some jack-up reasons I actually love her!" I yell. Holy...I love Carre. Oh, my! I think.

I go back to the hospital. I race up the stairs to Carre. I push the door open. I raced to Carre and picked her up by the waist and swung her around. "What was that about?" She asks. I kiss her. She kisses back. "I have something to tell you," I say. "What is it?" She asks. "I love you. I love you, Carre Búrra." I say. I look her in the eyes looking for a response. She kisses me. I kiss back. She breaks the kiss. "I love you too." She says looking up at me and bites her lip.
