When I reach over to see if Carre's there, I don't feel anything, I peek open my eyes and I don't see her. I groan and get up. I guess I have to make sure you're alive and stuff. I think to her, she doesn't seem dead I think when I walk in the living room. The clock wall says ten o'clock. She still seems alive and well, actually very alive. She's watching Tom & Jerry and eating ice cream. "Having a party and you didn't care to invite me?" I asked her, "Sorry but you were asleep, and I was hungry." I give her a look, "Name a time when your not, please,"
She gives me a thoughtful look, "I wasn't hungry last night." She said, I roll my eyes and plop on the couch. "Why are you watching Tom & Jerry?" I asked her, she looked at me like I had horns, a demon tail, and fangs. "You always watch cartoons after a scary movie, who doesn't?" She asked me, Well not me, that's for sure! I thought to myself. She looked at me like she was expecting something. I look at her and raise my eyebrows, "Yes, ma'am?" I ask, she smiles and looks at me funny, "I...er...um...we...but...could...yeah?" She said I looked at her. "We...Oh nevermind." She gets up and walks away. When she rings the phone, I look at her, "Fine! Besides, anyone else in this house, beside your grandmother, I will grab the phone myself!" She exclaims, "Thanks, you're the best!" I yell.
She's on the phone for a little while so I go over to check on her. "Yes, Mom. I love that color, but I think that you would look much better in plain-but-off white, with a farm setting. Don't you think." She nods, "Mom, you texted me nothing fancy, that is fancy....Yes, because midgets dancing on marshmallows is totally cheap!" She laughs and turns around. She looks at me, rolls her eyes then heads back to the conversation. I wrap my hands around her waist, and pull her towards me. She laughs, I can somewhat makeout the conversation, "What 'bout something else?" She asks her. "Like what exactly? I think you would go best with a spring wedding. Have some pale yellow, licac, baby blue, gray, light green. I'm picturing it now." She says. "Yes, I like that idea. I'll go talk to Raymond about it." I tighten my arms around her. So she's gone to Sir to Raymond. Not that bad of a change, I wonder if he's still being abusive. I wondered to myself.
I miss the rest of the conversation. She hung up and turned to face me. "Hi," she whispers, "Hi," I whisper back. "What are you doing?"
"I dunno, you?"
"Well, looks like we're attending a spring wedding,"
"Yeah?"
"Yeah."
"Do we have to go?"
"Yes we do,"
"And if I don't want to?"
"Then it sucks, because I will literally kidnap you and force you to go."
"Well, then Plan B."
"What's Plan B?"
"Well, you're just going to have to wait and find out." I tell her, she looks at me funny, I smile. "What are you going to do?" She asks me, "You'll just have to wait and find out!" I told her again. I walk out with her on my trail.
