"No backing out now. You've all but admitted it." He says. I go around him and push on his back, to make him sit down. I sit on his lap and curl up in a ball. "I hope she feels better soon," I say. "Me too. You're in this funk. You're not at school so I have no one to text during Mrs Evergreen's class." He says. I laugh a little. "But, don't you have other friends to text?" I asked him, still laughing a little. "Well," he said, dragging the word out a little, "they're not as fun to text as you. I tried Jax, but all he wants to talk about is you and me, pretty sure you don't want that." He continues with a wink. "Whatever," I say, rolling my eyes. He tickles me.
I later fell asleep in his lap. Ever since he said those three words, he hasn't been back to his house. He's afraid of going back. But honestly, I don't blame him. We don't really change seats or anything. Raymond came and visited every now and then mainly once every 5 days. He makes sure not to come a lot. Coyy doesn't move when he comes in. Just tenses under me. I look at him and he relaxes a little bit. I haven't been back to school. Coyy's been nagging me about it, so I think I might Monday.
I am awoken by a familiar voice. It's not Coyys. I jerk awake, I look around. I'm not in the hospital. I am back in my house, handcuffed to my bed. I cry out, but I can't. I'm gagged. My eyes are wide. The clock on my bedside, saying 5: 23 am. What? Where am I? I cry out, crying out for Coyy. But I can't because I'm gagged. I bent my head down to take it...
I'm jerked awake by Coyy, he's shaking my shoulders. "What's wrong?" He asked. I can't look at him, not now. "Please tell me. Please?" He begs. I can't do it. I break down in tears. He embraces me. I look at him. "I had a dream. It was...so...so real." I stammer. "What was? Please tell me Car." I smile at the nickname. My smile quickly fades. "My...my dream...It was so real, I could feel what it was like for her..." I look up at him but my gaze quickly shifts to Mama.
She's awake sitting up. "Mama?" I say in disbelief. I look at Coyy. "She was awake when you were asleep she heard you," Coyy said, smiling. I shake my head. "Mama!" I cry I rush over to her. "How long have I've been here?" She asks. "At least a week and a half." Coyy answers.
