"All I am saying is Soren, don't judge one's first greeting as though that is how they always will be."

The aroma of wet grass and sweaty quidditch gear fills The Great Hall, I sit down at the Gryffindor table next to a few other first year girls gawking at the older quidditch players.

One being Cedric, my eyes seek his lips but not to look at their rosy pigmentation, but to see his bruised and cut lip in the bottom corner. It is only fairly noticeable which is why I didn't see of it earlier but why would I?

I tried my best not to stare at his face for too long anyways, but still in the end he was hurt and I being caring maybe a bit too much I went up to him.

"Um, Cedric your lip." I reach carefully to tap him on the shoulder not wanting to take to much of his attention.

"My what?" He grazes his lip with his dirty thumb to feel his cut while still examining my concerning face.

"Oh, it's nothing don't worry just wait till Quidditch games start I'll have more than just a busted lip." Cedric laughs at his own comment which I couldn't help but have the same reaction,

"Well, shouldn't the Nurse examine it at least just to make sure you won't get an infection." I sensed the girls back at the table grimacing at me as though they should be jealous of just talking to Cedric.

"Sure I will go to the Hospital Wing as long as you tag along." I look back removing those girls nasty looks from my mind, we both scurry out of The Great Hall trying our best to be unnoticed by Cedric's friends.

They're great company but I've noticed they never really give Cedric a moment to breathe.

We leave with success and start walking together side by side. "Tell me Soren how do you like your house?"

"Funny Cedric, I'm not too keen on being in Slytherin as far as I've heard from other people Slytherin is only known as Evil and nothing more."

I put my head down in shame I want to be happy with where I am but it's hard with everyone resenting me wearing these green and silver colors. Even my brother acts differently with me now, the only people who haven't shown any trouble are obviously Katie and Puis, but also Cedric.

"I won't lie Soren when I heard the hat announce Slytherin on your head I was a bit caught back, it would have been great to see you wearing our colors. But there is one thing I disagree with what you said..."

I look at him curious as to what I was incorrect about, "Slytherins clearly can't be evil, because from what I know from you Soren Robin is you are not evil."

I couldn't help but feel my stomach flutter and what he said. His words were so sweet and a nice change from the harsh and crud words Malfoy said last night.

Speaking of Malfoy my eyes peer a group of boys in green robes, I hope I was being deceived and did not see a blonde boy up ahead. We continue to walk I try not to notice them but a boy by the name of Blaise Zabini approaches the two of us stopping me in my tracks, he comes near me only breathes away from me.

"Look Draco! Soren thinks hanging with a third-year will protect her, and not just that but a Hufflepuff as well how pathetic." I wish I was shocked by his repulsing attitude, but really I expect it to occur at least by Malfoy and his gang.

However I can't let them to continue to bully me throughout the year and especially to Cedric since he doesn't deserve any of this, I stood up to Malfoy last night I can stand up to his stupid posey.
