Once we made it back to Silas' I stepped out of the car and followed him in. It seemed a lot quieter than before but I was only there to get my bag and leave.

"Grab your stuff I need to check something out." Silas told me while heading to the set of stairs he had taken me down the other day to get that file.

I tried to remember where I was going and thankfully made it to the guest room. My bag was in the exact same place so I walked over to pick it up. However, when I turned around I almost had a stroke.

"Holy shit, how are you everywhere?" I asked Asrael who looked confused as to why I looked like a wolf had just attacked me.

"I came to see- uh- I don't usually do this. If you were alright." He mumbled, folding his arms over his chest with an unsure look.

It actually seemed as if he'd never had the chance to ask someone if they were alright. Or maybe no one had ever asked him. My brows knitted together but I shook the thoughts away.

"It's just been a long week." I told him honestly and he nodded in understanding before pausing for a moment.

He walked to the door and I wondered if after this I'd ever see him again. For some strange reason I didn't want it to to be the last so I quickly caught up to him.

"Hey, um, can I have you phone-" I began but he cut me off with a half smile.

"You already do." He told me and I genuinely thought I would explode because of his cryptic answers. I took my phone out of my pocket and scrolled through my contacts until I read, Asrael.

When I looked back up to ask him how he managed to do that without me noticing, he was already gone and Silas was coming towards me.

"You look like you've seen a ghost, " He paused when he reached me but continued when I gave him a look, "Whatever. Anyway, you need to see this." He told me while descending the stairs.

I temporarily forgot that someone had managed to pickpocket me successfully and followed him with a curious glance. He took me back to the room where we watched the recording and clicked on another file, bringing a camera recording of the hospital up.

He pressed some more buttons and the camera outside Rhys' room came up. After zooming in and maximising the volume, we watched two people walk into his room.

Two, very familiar people.

Silas glanced back at me for my reaction but I was frozen in place, remembering something from a few weeks ago.

"A tyrant demanded to see you." She huffed.

Blaze wouldn't have known how to find me unless someone had told him. Alex made sure of that. It definitely wasn't Rhys because he was in prison, Vincent didn't know who Blaze was. Liya was the only one I told about him.
