Victoria Hunt
One week later...
Maybe if I move to a different country I won't have to go. Yes, that works. I'll go to a tropical island, drink smoothies and live life to its fullest.
"I know what you're thinking. I wouldn't even try, Alex has locked the back door after I tried to escape the first time." Wyatt said, appearing at the door.
I groaned, turning over and hugging my pillow. I opened my eyes and noticed there was something missing and my brows knitted together.
"Where's Asrael?" I asked, turning to Wyatt who just laughed and gestured downstairs.
"He's getting the talk from Alex about how close he's aloud to be with you." Wyatt told me with an amused grin. I rolled my eyes and pushed the covers off me, standing up and heading into the bathroom.
I got back from the hospital around a week ago and the bullet wound was healing nicely, I just had to change the dressing twice a day. Dante had informed my brothers that we wouldn't be delaying anything and we were to be in New York...well, today.
Asrael wanted to come even though I had reminded him that his family was still here in Phoenix. I would be lying if I said I wasn't happy but I didn't want to he selfish at the same time. He would face time them every two days though.
When we made it to New York we would start a new school. Namely Ridgeview high. The most prestigious school in the city. Dante and his brothers owned the school, so there was that.
Plus, since Blaze was dead, the American mafia had to be passed down to someone. Greyson had refused it and Vladimir only wished to still be the underboss. So naturally, it went to Alexander.
Fun times right? I was in the actual mafia now.
"Hurry your ass up, we have to go." Creed called from downstairs.
You want another bombshell? Well, after we came back from the hospital, Creed told us he had something important to tell us. At first I thought it was about Callan, but no.
He had a daughter.
You heard correctly.
A freaking two year old daughter.
Two years ago he had a one night stand with one of the bartenders from the club he went to. He didn't want to tell us because he didn't know how we'd react and because we were all in a dangerous business. I didn't blame him, I would've done the same. Her name was Ella and he also brought us to meet her mother. Needles to say we all loved her. She was the literal definition of a little ball of sunshine.
I was still a bit confused but after another hour of explaining we all understood perfectly.
"I swear I will drag your ass down here. Hurry up." Damon called and I finished brushing me teeth and adjusted my shirt before grabbing my suitcase and heading downstairs.
Asrael smiled at me, kissing my forehead as Alex opened the door and started towards the car that was apparently supposed to be taking us to the airport. The driver stepped out and put the suitcases and bags in the back with the help of Zane and Adrian.
The car started soon after and Wyatt started belting out every song that came on, making us laugh. I had my head on Asrael's shoulder as I started at the buildings passing us by.
Everything seemed to be perfect, I had my brothers, my boyfriend and now, a niece. But how smoothly could the six mafia families living together for a year go.
It was obvious that for the next year, nothing but chaos would follow.
