Haewon's POV nobody spoke, nobody moved, nobody did anything. the deafening silence was enough, for us all. my heart felt such intense levels of moral culpability that i was sure i would have collapsed right there, on the damp stone floor. roughly, it was about three am and none of us had slept - not like we could anyways. no word or contact from san, kept our saddening embodiments from finding any rest.
Hongjoong was about to say something but Wooyoung interrupted him expeditiously.
"This is all your fault." he accused, glaring at me with unfathomable abhorrence.
"Wooyoung stop-"
"No, I won't stop Yunho. Because things, more importantly the truth, needs to be said here and now."
This was the first time any of us had seen the second youngest this angry. Pupils deadly and frightening, his mouth hissed with venom waiting to be released onto me and possibly others.
"Ever since these girls came, there has been a lack of focus and actual allegiance. San, being our best member was taken by who knows what. Miss Haewon over there had him wrapped around her frail fingers, playing with his feelings with every chance she got; her sister has been doing the same with Mingi."
Everyone listened in stillness. My head now tilted, covered my expression of annoyance, dejection and repudiation. Wooyoung's assumptions were breaking through my thick shell, a bit too comfortably. He continued:
"Hongjoong has put too much trust into the newcomers and for what exact reason? They have more freedom then we have had in the past. To cover up the fact you are failing as a leader? Or that you just simply don't trust your own allies enough?"
The leader watched with a collected manner, he didn't seem hinged at all by what was said.
"That's enough." Yeosang bellowed, standing his ground while his younger confronted him now face to face.
"Funny how you want to talk Yeosang. You are known for your secretive nature aren't you?"
Lisa arose from her crouched posture, she was prepared for something.
"I think it's about time you know Haewon." the wicked male said.
What was he talking about? Time I know what? At this moment it felt like my brain cells had chosen to become randomised as I fully could not comprehend what was about to be said.
