" i changed everything for this moment "

yeeun, clc - helicopter

Haewon's POV
foursome blades gyrated in their designated area as they chuffed routinely. the main rotor wings moved into the path of the vortex, producing the usual "blade slap" sound. trying my best to outset my eyelids to their open, i blinked as i partly saw the piechart on his head; in spite of me being held, air resistance was easily overwhelming as both our hairs drifted upwards and beyond.

In the other free hand, a rope ladder was in contact. I couldn't quite work out who the pilot was, but there was something so aesthetically pleasing about his bunny smile.

"Take it away Kook!" San called out, squinting at the flyer who signalled a salutation and began to turn the chopper counter clockwise.

Just behind us, the edifice began to cave in. Coal coloured smoke was arising in the airspace as the detritus from it's interior emptied out with no remorse. Nestling into San's sweet body, we braced as the helicopter retreated and soared midway into the sky.

"You can open your eyes now princess."

Between the clouds that promised rain, the skyline had it's colour of summer iris and millions of hidden galaxies full of brilliant stars. From afar, I could see the pollution of the city still levitating into the air; luckily for us, we were already far away from the calamity.

"You know I thought that you guys had left me." I gushed, taking in every mystery of San's eyes.

His tender lips tingled on my forehead, it was like a dew freckled petal caught in the breeze, so soft and with the refreshing hint of mint.

"We would never leave you, ever."

"House fire."

"What?" he replied, bewildering.

"San, the mansion is on fire." I cried.

From above, it looked like something out of a horror movie, twisted plastic and charred wooden posts, there was nothing to salvage, not a damn thing. We could smell the burning acrid, chemical infused and choking. A close success turned into another predicament.

Bosom individuals were visible outside the entrance, patiently waiting for our entry. Mingi's hair and height stood out uniquely beside my sister's dashing tow-coloured hair. The second San and I had touched the earth, Yeji clasped my back as I stared uneasily at the arson.

"We found a letter, oddly enough, only the two diagonal opposing corners had been burnt." Seonghwa averred.

A conspicuous "J" sealed the envelope; we all gathered round the deputy as he began to read.
