Chapter 9 ( The interogation)

Xiumin POV

The moment she replied, my smiled turned into a smirk. How is that even possible? Am I really that desperate hoping for a girl to come and talk to me? I guess so. She was so scared and I can tell from her face but she didn't show it that much but her face can be easily read. I wonder how she lives her life. It seems like she's having a good life I guess.

"Why are you standing there like a stick? Come and sit here with me." I said sarcasticly.

She is so blur but cute at the same time. I chuckled when I see her got out of her daze when she sees me. I know I'm handsome and good looking but it has been 10 years though. It's been a while since I got out and see the daylight, not to mention the ladies out there who is looking hot. I miss it so badly.

"H..ha..hai....hello...Um I'm Je Soo..don't kill me..." she said while her face looking down. I tilted my head after she said that. It's weird that suddenly she says like that. Why out of the blue I wanted to kill her? Unless if I rape her.

"What hahah no no no I'm not going to kill you...yet hahah" I replied sarcastically to her words and she got super nervous. I could tell that she wants to get out of here but looks like she's here for a reason.

"Umm okay then. I'm here for a reason and I hope you can cooperate with me. I'm not gonna stay long plus it's not a good place to interview a criminal like you". Wow I'm impressed she managed to get her courage saying that. But what I thought was right. I looked at her and smile while waiting for her sweet voice to come out from her lips.

Je Soo POV
Oh My Gosh! No wonders girls fall for this kind of guy. I mean look at him, he's cute, handsome, sexy and that milky skin of his makes me turn on. I day dream for a minute when I see him. Wait what!? Why am I thinking like that. I have a boyfriend, I can't be saying such things. It's totally ridiculous. I need to get my head in the game and get out of here. I just can't wait to rest my head and hopefully this interview won't take that long.

But the moment he started talking my words were trembling and I'm feeling super nervous but I have a job to do and my life is depending on it. I must give the best work to my boss so that he would be impressed. Okay chin up buttercup.

"Umm...okay then. I'm here for a reason and I hope you can cooperate with me. I'm not gonna stay long plus it's not a good place to interview a criminal like you" I can't believed I actually said that! Wow impressive Je Soo yah. Alright let's get down to business.

I took out my pen and my notebook to interrogate him.

"What's your name?" I asked him. But somehow I feel weird asking his name. I mean everyone knows he is Xiumin. I feel like a kindergarten teacher asking his name like this. As I was about to move to the next question, he just chuckled and looked at me as though those stares can kill me within a second.

"I thought you know my name already? Didn't you do any research before coming here sweetheart?" He said. My heart was beating so fast. Adrenaline rush through my body. Is he flirting with me now? He just said sweetheart Je Soo! Get yourself together.

I clear my throat and replied to his respond. " I know your name, it's just that I was wondering why Xiumin? And aren't you a Korean? What is your family name? After I said that, it's the moment of silent. He just keep quiet and keep looking at me. Did I said anything wrong though?

Okay. I just keep questioning him but he didn't answer one at all. I get so frustrated and decided to take a break from this. It's going to be 5 and I haven't eat anything. I can't believed that I have stay here longer than I expected . I sighed and decided to leave him.

"Thank you for so not cooperating with me. Have a good day. Good bye" I said that and left the room with frustration. Seriously what is up with him? At first he was smiling and smirking then suddenly he turns cold. Maybe the question I asked him is like a kindergarten question. He's right. I could have just do some research about his past in the internet. That would have been less troublesome.

Time skip at home

I reached home and lay myself down on the couch. I'm so tired that I fell asleep instantly. At the same time, my stomach was grumbling and I haven't ate lunch nor dinner.

I stand up and walked myself to the kitchen to make some sandwich. I was about to munch on it until my phone rang. It's the officer.

" Hello?" I said.

"Hello is this miss Je Soo?" The person on the other line said.

"Yes I'm Je Soo. Who is this?" I asked

" I'm the admin in the police station you went this afternoon. I'm sorry for not attending you because of the urgent meeting. Anyways I just want to let you know that your file is here with me plus with your documents as well. Can I know when are you going to take it back?" I stay silent for a minute and screamed in my thoughts. Why oh why oh why I'm so clumsy???

"Oh My Gosh! I'm so sorry for troubling you. I will take it tomorrow then. Can you please keep it for me? " I asked.

"Sure I can! I'll keep it for you. Have a good day alright miss!" She hung up.

I facepalmed myself for being such a clutz. Then suddenly, my boss called me. Ugh what now!

"Hello Je Soo! So how's the interview today? Is everything okay?" His voice boomed through my ears. I can feel that my eardrums is going to explode any minute.

"W...well...not quite actually..." I replied. He on the other line stay silent and started yelling.

"What is wrong with you?? You spent so many hours there doing nothing?" He said with angry tone. I was about to replied him until he started to blackmail me.

"If you didn't get that information from his mouth. I'm not going to hesitate to fired you!!" He hung up on me.

I cry upon hearing that blackmail. This work is all I had. I know I can always look for another job but I love working with this company. I put my phone down and just stared at the cold sandwich that I made minutes ago. I have no appetite now. Great. I put it back into the fridge and just make my way to my room and sleep. I'm so tired to even do anything. I close my eyes and drift into dreamland.

Right now I just wished that my boyfriend is here to accompany me but looks like I'm all alone in this dark cold room.
