Chapter 25 ( man to man)

Je Soo POV

I was startled when I saw his figure knocked me down on the ground but he managed to hold my head from hitting it. I closed my eyes for a second and then opened to see him staring right at me. It's like time stop for a while and everything when frozen. I feel like I was in wonderland until somebody interrupted our moment. Byun Baekhyun.

I was so annoyed at him because he follows me when I first got into the grocery store. He didn't asked me about my life or my days, instead he literally followed me everywhere. I let him be throughout the shopping and hope he would start a conversation with me. But he didn't uttered a single word and followed me until I reached home. I sigh and ignore his presence until I knocked on Xiumin at the front door.

Xiumin saw Baekhyun looking at both of us with a horror look plastered on his face.

"Oh no.." was his last words before running back into the house. At the same time, my head hit the ground.

"What the hell?? Ouch my head...."I said while trying to stand up but fail.

"Oh My Gosh, Je Soo!! Are you alright? You're head is bleeding..here let me help you..." Baekhyun said. He helped me up and carried along the grocery stuff inside.

Once me and Baekhyun are inside, I didn't see Xiumin anywhere. Where did he go though? Then I heard a soft cracked at the stairs. I'm pretty sure he's eyeing me like a prey from there. Owh who cares, he just left me there after seeing Baekhyun. What's his deal anyway?

"You go and sit down at that couch. I'll bring you the med kit and some water for you to drink" he left to the kitchen and left me alone with Xiumin eyeing me from the stairs. Damn he sure does look creepy. He's a killer anyway. Why do I keep forgetting about that?

I didn't realise I was thinking about Xiumin until Baekhyun wipe the blood out of my head.

"Ouch! Ouch! Ouch! Can you do it carefully ? You're hurting me..." I whine in pain.

"I was talking to you and you weren't listening to me! Sheez woman what were you thinking huh?" He said. Finally a normal conversation with this kid. I thought he wouldn't said a word after all this time.

"Nothing....mind your own business will you?" I said nicely but then he pressed my head harder and I screamed in pain.

"AHHHHH!!!"

"What the hell do you think you're doing?" Xiumin said while storming down the stairs.

Baekhyun was surprised to see Xiumin. I look at both of them and they're just staring at one another without saying anything. Great. What a day. I try to stand up to break up the silence but both of them suddenly held my hand.

"Let her go...you should leave now..." Xiumin said while gripping hard on my hand.

"Why should I? I'm not letting her getting hurt by someone like you!" Baekhyun said.

I was frozen when both of their hand griping hard on my wrist. I couldn't stand this situation, I let go of my wrist and stomped my feet hard on the floor to get their attention.

"What are you? 7? Seriously? I'm in pain and you both standing there like I'm some kind of prize to be won??!!!....(sigh)....just let me be..I'll be fine..." I then went to the toilet to clean up the wound by myself. I really can't stand argument but deep down I'm so happy to have both of them protect me unlike that jerk, Park Chanyeol.

Baekhyun POV

I saw Je Soo heading straight to the toilet and heard the door's been locked from the inside. I sigh. It's been so long I have not seen her and I really miss teasing her at the office. I just couldn't stand to stay focus and be serious all the time. That's just not me though. I actually can be but my limit is only up to 4 hours. Well I am Byun Baekhyun and what do you expect. I was self praising myself until someone break the silence.
