Chapter 24

Third POV

"It's Kim Min Seok"  Xiumin said.

"Kim...Min...Seok??" Je Soo asked with her eyes wide open.

"Yes...Kim...Min...Seok!!" He smiled happily as she try to pronounce his name properly.
She looks like she's learning ABC when she's trying to call out his name. To him, she's adorable and a gem that no one can ever replace.

"Alright! I get it!! Stop babying me" she said with her face flushing red.

"Well I'm not the one who started it first babygirl. In fact the way you try to say my name is like you're learning alphabets in kindergarten. Since you know how to say my name, can you say it properly this time?" He said with a smirk plastered on his face.

This time her face is already as red as a tomato. She pushed him a side and went out of the room.

"Gosh, why is she always like that?" He said in his heart.

Meanwhile Je Soo went downstairs to pick up her phone to hear how the interview goes.

"This is great! I hope my boss can accept me back. I miss working there although I don't have friends there, but there are still people who care. You can do this Je Soo yah! Fighting!!!" She tidy up the table and arranged the paperwork in her file to give it to her boss.

She opened her laptop and edited the recording. She looks happy and satisfied with Xiumin's or Min Seok's story. Although the story was a tragic ending for Xiumin, she can see that he's slowly changing.

"What makes him change though? Is it because of me? I don't do anything besides than killing myself. What did he sees in me?" I whispered to myself.

I was lost in thought until he shrugged me. "Watchu thinking?" He asked.

"Um..." she said. A million question was on her mind but nothing come out of her mouth to ask him. She doesn't want to have any feelings for anyone after Chanyeol's incident. But looking at Xiumin, should she give him a chance to love? He's a killer for goodness sake.

"Um what?" He said while he frowned at her.

"Nothing! Nothing! Really! I'm just thinking if I should send the CD or not hahaha!! Don't worry okay" she said

"Um...you could have just send it in your pen drive or something..hahaha.." he giggle looking at your flustered face.

"Right...hahaha you're right... I was about to do that!!" With that she ran back to her room and get her pen drive.

Xiumin looked at her figure running towards her room. She reminds him of his mother. Although her mother follows what other has to say, but she's a forgiver. She forgives someone and believes that everyone deserve a second chance. He then lay down on the couch remembering about his mother until he fell asleep.

Je Soo POV

"Aish this guy I'm telling you, why is he always making me flustered. What ever! I need to find that pen drive and give it to my boss tomorrow. I need to do this! Je Soo yah fighting!" I said to myself.

After hours of searching and saving the recording, I went downstairs to look for Xiumin.

"That's weird. Usually he would come and catch me but he didn't do that today. I wonder why" I asked myself wondering about his behaviour. As I went downstairs, I saw a sleeping figure on the couch.

"Owh he's asleep" I walked towards his sleeping figure and bend down to look at his face nearer. Our lips almost touch but I managed to get a hold of myself.

"You've gone through so much all this years. I wish I could be there for you. I'm sorry".

I caressed his hair gently and listened to his soft mumbling as he sleep. I got up slowly and decided to head down to the grocery.

Xiumin POV

I was startled and fell down after hearing the sound of a loud thunder coming from outside.

"Ouch!!! my head..." I caressed my head gently and rubbed my butt because of the fall. Adjusting my eyesight, I look at the surrounding. I didn't hear any sound except for the growling thunder. Somehow it reminds me of  the scene where I kill those girls. Dead silence. It's impossible that I kill her right? Wait what am I thinking???

I stand up and looked for her everywhere but she's no where to be found. I even went to her room and knocked on her bathroom door but no respond. When I opened the door, she's not there. What the hell?

"Where could she go at this hour? Is she reporting me to the police? Is this a trap? And most importantly why did she left me all alone?" I sound like a kid now, great. I continue looking for her again but I gave up.

I stared at the door and thinking "should I go out there? No! No way man! You're gonna get caught! No! Je Soo might need my help! No! She didn't! If not why would she left you unnoticed?" I scratched my head and felt uneasy feeling about her.

"That's it..like it or not...getting caught or not...I'm not leaving my girl out there all alone in the rain!!!" I say.

I was about to stormed off the door until I saw her wet figure standing still by the door. I bumped to her and all the things that she was holding fell on the ground. I managed to cover her head from hitting the ground and looked her in the eyes. Why is she looking so beautiful under the rain? We stared for good 10 seconds until I heard someone cough which interrupts our moment.

"Am I missing something?" The mystery person asked.
