Chapter 26

Xiumin POV

I saw Je Soo heading upstairs after hearing her pain about her head. I feel bad letting her head fall on the ground and running back to the house to hide from this mysterious kid who claimed to know Je Soo. Hmmph. He's so childish also, I don't see that he's better like me. I decided to let things cool down a bit and continue watching the TV.

I was busy going through the channel until I heard a soft crack at the stairs indicating that someone is going upstairs. I turn my head to the stairs and saw this guy heading upstairs.

"You should leave her alone. You have treated her very badly, and now you want to make things worst for her?" I said.

"Humph owh pleaseeee, look who's talking! Who was the one  letting her go and came running like a coward?" He replies me back with his sassy tone.

"You really have the urge to say like that to me after you followed her around in the market like a stalker huh?" I smirked this time after his face shows surprise at what I said. I'm also surprised by my sudden reply because I'm not sure what situation were they in. I just hope I nail it.

"How...ddd...did..you... know???I di..d... did NOT!!" He said trying to hide his embarrassment with his act. I was right but what the hell was he stalking my girl like that? Wait did I just mention my girl? Owh well she is my girl.

This time I stand up and head towards his direction to the stairs, "Awwhh did someone just stuttered like a baby?" I swing my arm on his shoulder and eye him from head to toe. But then he shrugged it off and started talking.

"Okay fine you win..haish, why can't I win over this small arguments. He decided to head down stairs until I spoke up to him.

"Don't let small arguments make you feel down, you need to be brave enough to face it, don't run away from it. It will just makes things worst for you. Try to man up yourself. By that time, I'm sure nobody will belittle you or make fun of you" I said. I actually felt really good with this new changes. I should thank Je Soo after this. She really does change me.

"You mean like what you did to Je Soo?" He chuckled lightly.

"That's a different story plus I'm embarrassed when meeting someone I didn't know" I said but my face was already started to blush because of the embarrassment that I did to her. Then it hit me, the guilt it's still there.

"Anyway, I'm not going to disturb her at the moment because of what you did" he said but I cut him off.

"You too even try to hurt her by pressing her head very hard although you know very well that she's in pain" I replied back. Oh My Gosh when is this going to end.

"Yeah yeah I admitted it's my fault too. But yeah I'll be taking my leave now. Thanks for your not so good but okay advice for me. Really appreciate it hyung" I was stunned by the word hyung. Well nobody would called me that ever.

"Hey!!! Hey?!! Are you there??!!!" This guy said.

"Owh? Haha yeah I'm here. What you want?" I asked while folding my arms.

"Never mind, your mind seems to wander off somewhere..haha just kidding. Anyway I'll be off and see you when I see you mr??" He said. Great he wants to know my name, what name should I use? Xiumin or Kim Min Seok? Can I really trust this guy? I'm just gonna bet on my life on this.

"It's Kim Min Seok for you" I replied, but deep down, my heart was beating so fast.

"Owh I thought your name is Xiu?" He was making this question face again, omggg did Je Soo just expose me??.

"Never mind, maybe Je Soo hit her head so hard that she accidentally called out that name, anyway the name is Byun Baekhyun. It's pleasure to meet you. Please take care of Je Soo, she's been through a lot that I hardly sees her in the office and hopefully one day we can catch up for boys time and have some coffee? What did you say?" He said. Wow this guy sure is friendly, but I have to be careful also when I'm in public, I can't let anyone recognise me and I hope he didn't asked any question regarding my appearance when I'm meeting him.

"Yeah sure, whatever if you want to" I said.

"Alright cool, you can take my number from Je Soo and just give me a call for some bro time alright! Bye!" With that he left the house and I'm standing still at the stairs. What was that all about? Am I feeling very homie now? Damn this changes is too much for me. I don't know if I can keep up like this. But with Je Soo around I don't think that's impossible.

I head up to Je Soo's room and knocked softly on the door.

"Je Soo yaaa, are you alright there? Can I come in?" I said, but there's no response. I decided to come to her room, to see her sleeping figure on the bed. There's a stain of blood on the pillow and I don't think she bandage her head properly. So I lift up her head gently on my lap and clean up the stain then I bandage her head.

I'm glad she's sleeping peacefully after all that argument that me and Baekhyun had. She looks tired so I just stay in her room to just look at her sleeping. But then she turned her body towards me and start hugging my body. Awwhh she's so adorable. But at the same time I felt an awkward feeling with her, I know that we use to sleep together once but this time I shouldn't let her do this to me, it just makes me more guilty about her injury . I try to shrugged her arms off me but her grip was  so hard that she hug as though my body is her bolster.

I decided to be that way until I realise I was falling asleep next to her.

The next day...

Je Soo POV

I woke up to the sound of snoring right beside my ear. Wait what? "Xiumin?! What are you doing here?" I asked softly but he didn't buy it, he just continues snoring until I decided to blow some air in his ears. He was surprised and opened his eyes wide to the sudden breeze to his ear.

"Arrrrghhh!!! What was that all about????" He asked.

"Owh nothing...wait no there's something..why are you here? In my room? Didn't I lock the door yesterday? How about Baekhyun? Did you leave him alone? What time is it anyway? Ouch my head is still painful." I asked too much that my head was starting to hit me hard.

"Hey, hey, calm down, breathe in, breathe out, okay repeat after me, breathe in, breathe out. Okay again, breathe in, breathe out. How do you feel now? Much better?" He asked. I was busy staring at his eyes which sparkles my day, his smile that warms up my cheeks and his voice so seductive that I might get lost in his words.

"Hello Earth to Je Soo??" He said while waving his palm infront of my face.

"Huh? Huh? Owh! Haha? Owhh yeah I'm sorry.. I mean I'm here" why do I even do that.

"You look like you just had a panic attack, do you want me to bring you some meds or something?" He asked but I just told him to ignore my condition for the time being because I can't think straight.

"Okay if you say so. I'll be downstairs and make breakfast for both of us. See you downstairs" with that he left my room and head downstairs to make breakfast.

Is he really a killer? I still can't believe he really did that all those years. Or is he wearing a mask to hide his identity from me? Even if he did, why would he tell me his real name? I can't stay put here knowing there's more that I need to know about him.
