Chapter 16 (Sweet Treats)

Je Soo POV

I woke up to the sound of someone calling out my name. It's so sweet but somehow it send shivers down my spine. Wait what happened? I opened my eyes to see Xiumin was standing tall in front of me.

"You awake!" Said Xiumin.

"Why am I tied to this chair? Let me go you psycho!!!" I shouted loud.

"Stop.....stop... stop calling me that!! I'm not a psycho, woman! I'm not!! I'm not!! I''M NOT!!!" This time he shouted out loud. I don't know why but I felt scared. But then sympathy takes over me when I see his tears falling down his rosy cheeks. I never hurt anyone nor I talk back to them. However Xiumin is a different story. He's a criminal and should be treated differently.

Suddenly, the location to where Xiumin been held captive came over to me like a bomb. Remembering the place where they torture, manipulating and even worst, killing them slowly is like hell.

"W...wh....why n...why not? Aren't you one of them? You...you...you...killed people Xiumin" I said looking down at figure.

"You don't know me Je Soo...you don't know...I know what I did is wrong but tell me...why does it feel so right?" He smirk. Great. Now what should I reply.

"How...how should I know??? You know it better than me!" I said blushing. His face still looking at me and without I realised his face is already near to me.

"Hmm...if I untie you, you must promise me one thing" I just nodded my head so that he'll spare my life.

"Can you be nice to me and treat me like a normal person? Don't call the cops. Whatever you need I will help you. I promise" he gives out his pinky finger to me. Since my hand are tied up, I just nodded my head.

"Good girl. Here let me help you" he said while untying the rope. I didn't move and just sit there quietly. He then went to the kitchen and grab the med kit.

"Okay, let me treat your wound. Don't move. This will hurt a bit" my heartbeat was beating fast. He's not going to kill me right?

He started to wash away some blood stains from my hair due to his hit before I passed out. After washing, he dried my hair with a hair dryer. I felt like shouting because it stings too much but I don't want to do any thing stupid so I decided to stay still.

"Aren't you feeling any pain?" He asked.

"I do feel pain. Can you?" I asked sarcastically.

"I'm sorry. I'll do it slowly. Do let me know if I go to hard on your hair and I'll slow down okay" he said. I don't know why but I felt at ease he did this. He care about me. But can I trust him easily?

30 minutes passed by,

"Thank you Xiumin" I said. He just smiled at me and then asked me to stand up so that he can sit on the chair.

"Why? There's a couch there. Why must you sit here?" I asked then he looked me in the eyes.

"You hurt my head too. Aren't you going to treat me?" He pouted. I almost rolled my eyes because of his cuteness. No wonder many women fell for him. I helped him cleaned his hair and treated his wound. He thanked me and gesture me to sit on the couch.

"Can I speak casually with you?" He asked. What a dummy. Aren't you being one right now?

"Aren't you being casual with me now?" I asked.

"Smart hahaha" he laugh a little.

He then looked around and pick up the pan that we just hit our head with.

"What would you like to eat today? I'm a good cook you know?" He asked.

"I uhh don't feel like eating" I said while looking down. I still felt tired from yesterday events. Everything happened so fast and here I am talking to the psycho...no..to a killer in my house.

"What happened yesterday that you're drunk?"He said.

"Why do you care about me? I'm fine. Don't worry" I said. It's just too much to remember all of it.

"Owh okay...if you don't feel like telling me, at least you have to eat. I'll make some hangover soup and cooked a few dishes for us to eat. Just sit here and relax okay. After I'm done I'll call you" with that he makes his way to the kitchen and started cooking.

I  sit on the kitchen island and see him preparing the dishes. I'm glad that there are goods in the fridge. If not I have to go out and buy it. I don't really have the mood to go anywhere so I just stayed here and looked at Xiumin cooking.

He looks so happy and calm when cooking, although he can be bit a clumsy with the knife to cut the onion. Well, he stab people not cut people. There's a difference there.

Time skip after cooking,

"Je Soo...food is served!!" I was amazed by his skills. My stomach makes a loud noise for both of us to hear.

"Looks like someone is already hungry ay?" He said.

"Shut up..." my face was blushing red right now. Great.

"Haha don't worry..mine too..come let's eat" we both sat and eat quietly. I wanted to tell him that his food is delicious and very tasty.

"How is it? Is it good?" He asked. I look at him and stare at his face for good 3 minutes.

"Um Je Soo you're scaring me..is my food not good?" He asked again and I was awake from daydreaming.

"Well you have to try again..it's not as good as I thought" I asked while trying to hold in my laugh.

"What?? Really?? I taste it really good though...hmm should I throw this away?" I feel bad for teasing him like that and I'm thinking what should I say next.

"WAIT!! NO!! Don't throw it! It's delicious! It's really good!!" I stand up and make my steps towards him. He just looked at me with wide eyes. I then bend down a little and hug him.

"Thank you" I said. He didn't hug me back. Well that's a little disappointed. I break away the hug and makes my way back to my sit and continued eating the dishes he made for me.

In this food, I felt love. Chanyeol also loves to cook but never once he cooked for me. I ignored the thoughts and look at Xiumin. I just smiled to myself and said how lucky I am to taste home cooked from him. It's weird I know but the real question is now should I give the chance to him to be better?
