it's been a few weeks since i've shifted and i've been working with sam and training on my moves and anger and today's the day i finally get to go to school! don't know why i'm excited i just am and here we are in the school parking lot with our little 'posse' that's what i like to call us anyway even though they like to make fun of the name i don't care. i'm holding paul's hand and embrys arm is around my shoulder we all get out of the cars and into the building....and that's where it all went down-hill

all the whispers i hear are getting irritating and i take a deep breathe "just ignore them you'll get used to it and they'll fade away eventually" jared tried to reassure me i nod my head but still feel a little uneasy paul squeezes my hand and i send him a greatful smile but i turn and i see quil...he looks mad,sad,and disappointed and i feel my eyes sting jake rubs my shoulder "i know" he whispers i just depart from them and walk to my first class.

i'm now in 5th period the period before lunch and ask to go to the restroom once i'm done with my business i look in the mirror and splash my face with water i hear the door open but ignore it i dry my face with a paper towel and went to throw it away until i was shoved against the wall by three girls "what the hell" i say and the blonde one spoke "hmmm i wonder how paul likes being with a slut" do not engage don't get angry "i wonder,what does he see in you?" another one spat in disgust i clench my fist breathe "he's just gonna break your heart in the end sweetheart it's better if you just leave" the last one said in and out "just get off me" i said with clenched teeth and i can feel my body shaking slightly "awwee look she's shaking because she's scared" if only you knew they all laugh and i broke. i punched the blonde in the face not hard to knock her out but her lip is busted and bleeding they all gasp "you bitch you just punched me!" "serves you right" i spat next thing i hear is a *snip* i turn to see one girl with a clump of my hair in her fingers smirking i slap her hard enough to leave a print immediately her eyes start watering and she drops the scissors and they all run out. i turn to the mirror and see the strand they cut, my hair was a little past my waist and the strand stops to my mid back i look down and grab the scissors off the floor and i just start cutting.after i'm done i stare at the mirror with a blank face and my hair a little past my shoulders i throw away the hair and scissors and walk out the bathroom and school and into the woods where i phase and just start sprinting. wolf:

(this is also what she looks like just tanner skin and darker hair)i was running for who knows how long but i finally gave up and blew off some steam and ran back to emily's. i phase and enter the house breathing heavily,i walk in and everyone goes silent and just looks at me shocked until emily comes up and crushes me into a hug i return it and i felt a single tear escape no stop being weak i scold myself it's a stupid reason to be crying i let her go and just walk into the living room i can see embry walk up to me but sam holds him back but paul pushes through "we've been looking everywhere for you where the hell did you go? we were worried something happened or someone hurt you! you just left to go to the bathroom and didn't show up what the fuck!" i just stare at him my face emotionless he takes a deep breath "what happen?" i just stand up and walk out the door making sure to slam it and go to the one person i can think to talk too....leah.
i go to the clearwaters and sue opens the door with a smile and tells me to come in "hey is um-is leah here i need to talk to her" she nods and tells me she's upstairs i go up and knock "come in" i open the door and walk in she turns to look at me i sign and just start ranting and told her what happened but i don't cry though. she doesn't like paul or sam or any of them but she said she'll deal with them for me and i know sam said stay away from people but i can't stay away from her she's one of my best friends. i went to leave her house but sue stops me "how are you dealing with it?" i give her a questionable look and she motions to my tattoo my eyes go wide "don't worry nova i know" i sigh of relief "it feels different and it's harder" i give her a slight smile "well you are the first ever female shifter" "i am!?" "yes. female shifters are not common and your the very first one we've heard of you're gonna go down in the history books" she laughs i square my shoulders and give a cocky smile which makes her laugh a little harder.we say goodbye and i go home.

i've been training some more and now is my first patrol with jake and i'm excited 'nova at least try to control your thoughts' oops i forgot we can hear each others thoughts that's gonna get really annoying but i'm gonna have to deal with it one way or another 'nova!' 'sorry jake' he gives a wolf-like chuckle then a scent hits my nose 'eugh what is that awful smell!?' 'leech' jake growls 'let's go we have to catch her' 'who victoria?!' 'yeah' jake howls and the others come running with us

i look over to see the cullens running on the other side but no edward. she jumps back other to our side but is way ahead of us. sam didn't know this but i've been working on my speed and i think i'm pretty fast in my opinion...well now he's knows this. i look over to him and he nods his head
'go' and i start running faster then everyone else and i get a good 15ft ahead of everyone else and i almost got her until she abruptly swung her arm back and hit me and i smacked against a tree and she jumped to the other side

he hesitates but runs with the rest i get up and see emmet jump to our side "emmet no!" rosealie yells he ignores her and jumps but paul slams into him knocking him in the water growling and he does the same i sprint over and get in between them and start growling at them both i turn and nod my head to emmet to go.

'wether you guys like it or not their still my family and i'm not gonna let you hurt them'-me

'and i understand that and he was caught up in the moment but we were going for the same thing no?-me
he grunts but before he can respond sam does 'paul enough,just drop it. you all are free to go home.'

i was walking to my house when i see paul standing there "what are you doing here?" i question he shrugs "i just want too see you" "you saw me 10 minutes ago" i laugh "i saw your wolf not you" he smirks and i roll my eyes "well you see me now sooo" i smirk back "i guess i do" he chuckles "what are you really here for" i quirk my eyebrow "i just wanted to see if you got home safe" "awww how sweet your going soft" i tease "i'm only going soft with you" "you don't have too" i say joking with a smirk and he and laughs really big we talk for a few minutes until i yawn "why don't you go to bed it's getting late" "your probably right" we get up and i give him a hug "text me tomorrow?" he whispers as we pull apart "yeah i'll text you tomorrow" i whisper back and tuck my hair behind my ear "why did you cut your hair?" i clear my throat "some girls....said i wasn't good for you and one cut a strand of my hair so i cut the rest" i mumble and look down he lifts my chin with his pointer finger and thumb "don't ever think your not good enough for me"he whispers i look up and see how close we are i nod my head slightly and we just stare at each other and he leans in and i follow and our lips gently meet in the middle and i apply more pressure and so does he.the kiss lasts a few seconds longer before i pull away and we just stare at each other "goodnight paul" i say gently "goodnight nova" he smiles softly
