about 2 days have passed and so far it's not going well,bella can barely move from the couch without struggling and she's looking worse,edward has been on a temper rampage that isn't helping and i always see him looking up pictures of immortal babies and what they could do,on the bright side,esme always keeps us fed,she's glad she has someone other than me to cook for since she enjoys it so much,leah hasn't warmed up to them still,won't even go near a cullen,i know she knows i'm slightly disappointed in her by the looks i give her,but she always ignores them,i just want her to see that they aren't bad people.

today we had to take an x-ray of bellas stomach like we always do every few days,the only people she ever lets come is carlisle,obviously,me,and edward,i think she lets me come not only because i'm basically her sister,but for support and to disagree with everything edward says. "your ribs are cracked" carlisle said looking at the x-ray "but there are no splinters,you haven't punctured anything"

"yet" edward scoffed

"edward just let it go" i pinch the bridge of my nose in annoyance

"it's breaking her bones now nova and you want me to just 'let it go?'" he continued and bella squeezed my hand,close to tears "it's crushing you from the inside out,carlisle tell them what you told me,tell them."

"carlisle tell me,it's alright" bella reassured but i think she was reassuring herself

"the fetus isn't compatible with your body,it's too strong,it won't allow you to get the nutrition you need,it's starving you by the hour,i can't stop it,and i can't slow it down,at this rate,your heart will give out before you can deliver" i can see tears gather up in bellas eyes

"then i'll hold on as long as i can and then-"

"bella" carlisle cuts her off softly "there are some conditions that even venom can't overcome,you understand? i'm sorry" he said sincerely before walking out,i was gonna follow him to give edward and bella some time to talk but she wouldn't release my hand

"stay" she said softly and i did "edward i'm sorry" her voice cracked

"i can't live without you" he turned away from her

"you won't,you're going to have a part of me,he'll need you"

"do you honestly think that i could love it or even tolerate it if it killed you?" he turned his head to us

"its not his fault" bella defended the baby "you have to accept what is"

"because you've given me NO CHOICE!" he yelled in frustration and i stood up straighter in precaution "bella we're supposed to be partners remember? but you decided this on your own,you decided to leave me"

"d-don't see it that way" bells shook her head

"well i have no other way to see it,because it's me who'll lose you,and i don't chose that,i don't choose that" he whispered the last part again before walking out,a tear flowed down her cheek and she sniffed

"bella" i said softly in sympathy

"why?" was the only thing she rasped out "why can't he just love him like i do? he sees him as a monster and i just see a baby" she rubs her stomach sadly and i gently run my fingers through her hair

"he's just....sad,and-and angry that he let this happen,i think he blames himself" i half lied even though we both knew the truth,everyone did,he's mad because he's basically killing her,his actions are killing her,we're running out of time and for now the only solution is bella has to hang on by a thread.

me and rose were getting ready a bath for bella,as she sits on a chair in a white robe, me and rose fill up the tub and make sure the temperature is right before she stands up and slowly takes off her robe,i stare at her body in sadness,her arms and legs looked so fragile and her spine was so visible,she's more pale and her cheeks are sinking in more,in the mirror i saw edward looking at her also from the door,rose nodded her head to the door slightly and i nodded,walking over, i sent him a sad look before gently shutting the door on him,blocking his vision of bella as she covers herself with the robe
