        "Oh fuck no!"

Damian backed away from the nurse faster than I could figure out what was going on. He had a look of terror on his face. I quickly jumped to his side, trying to comfort him.

"Damian, you gotta calm down. It's just a needle."

He shook his head and tried to back up even further but he ran into the wall. I grabbed his wrist and tried to pull him back to the nurse. He refused to budge and tugged me back to him, placing me in front of him as if I was a shield. I turned around and placed my hands on either side of his face. I laced fingers around his neck and gently pulled him forward.

"Damian, focus on me, baby. On my face and my voice. Don't worry about the nurse. Look at me and only me."

I glanced at the nurse out of the corner of my eye and saw her prepping the pain medication. I turned back to Damian and ran my fingers through his hair. His eyes fluttered closed and he relaxed. The nurse moved closer and gently inserted the needle into Damian's arm. He tensed slightly but didn't freak out like I expected him too.

"Alright, Mr. Thomas. I'm all done here."

I nodded at the nurse and pulled Damian into a chair. I went to sit beside him but he pulled me into his lap, obviously not feeling anymore pain. I rested my forehead against his, brushing my nose against his.

"So, I know what I'm gonna do for our date."

I looked at him expectantly, waiting for his answer. He just smiled and shook his head.

"Nope, I'm not telling you. It's a surprise."

I pouted at him but he just smiled and kissed my nose. I blushed slightly and buried my face in his neck. He chuckled lightly and rested his head on top of mine. The doctor chose that moment to return and smiled lightly.

"Mr. Thomas, please follow me. We need to do some x-rays to see if your hands are broken or not. I don't think it's likely based off of the preliminary exam but I just want to make sure."

Damian nodded lazily. I just laughed and pulled him up to follow the doctor. I stood outside the door until the x-rays finished and laughed the whole way back to the exam room while Damian made stupid faces and comments. When we got back, Damian sat down in the chair and pulled me into his lap.

He crashed his lips to mine, wrapping his arms around my waist. I buried my fingers in his hair as I returned the kiss. He pulled my bottom lip into his mouth, biting gently. I smiled slightly and parted my lips to tangle my tongue with his. I knew he was partially inhibited from the morphine but I couldn't bring myself to care. I jumped slightly when a throat was cleared behind us. I turned around and found the doctor watching us with an amused expression.

"Well Mr. Thomas, I have good news. Your hands aren't broken. They are just swollen and sore. I'll write you a prescription for an anti-inflammatory and pain killers. You are free to go, just make sure you take your medication on time."

Damian just nibbled on my neck, oblivious to the doctor's words. I rolled my eyes at Damian's actions and stood up, pulling the oaf with me. I thanked the doctor and led Damian out of the hospital. I deposited him in the passenger seat and drove back to his dorm. When we got there, Ty was standing outside the dorm with his hands on his hips.

"Ty, I know I didn't really ask but if I didn't take him when I did, he never would've gone. I needed to make sure he was okay. Can you blame me?"

Ty just shook his head and smiled, grabbing Damian from out of the car and dumping him in his room.

"Ty, do you care if I borrow your car again? I need to go get Damian's prescriptions filled."

Ty just nodded his head. I climbed back into the car and headed to the local Walgreen's. I parked and ran inside. I decided that I would grab some candy since my monthly was coming up soon. After I'd grabbed some M-n-Ms and Reece's Peanut Butter Cups, I walked up to the pharmacy. I dug through my purse and pulled out Damian's prescriptions. I looked back up and locked eyes with a ginger that I never wanted to see again.

        "Ian..."

        Heyo,

So here's the chapter. I has an announcement for y'all. Tragedy and I are starting another story. It's a werewolf story. I think it's gonna be very good. One of us will post a summary within the next day or two. If I have time I'll try to put it up tonight. Welp, I'm gonna go now because I have to do the dishes.
