This girl is gonna be the death of me. She won't leave my mind! Why did I sing for her? I haven't felt this way since middle school when I got my first crush.
It's been about an hour since I sang at The Corner Brew and I keep replaying everything. The coffee, introducing her to Ty, singing. God, I'm acting more like a girl than Ty! What the hell!
I looked at my phone, seeing it was about dinner time. But I wasn't hungry. My mind was too occupied by a certain country girl who was determined not to leave.
After debating with myself, I decided to text Allie. I unlocked my phone and pulled up her contact info. I hesitated before pressing the message button and typing out a simple "Hey".
About thirty seconds later, my phone lit up and vibrated, signaling I had a message.
From: Allie~
Hey. Damian?
I laughed a bit and sent my reply.
To: Allie~
No. It's the President.-_- Of course it's Damian.
It wasn't very long until I got a reply.
From: Allie~
Great, because you're hot. You should come to my dorm because I'm horny and want some fun. Room 520. ;)
I couldn't help but laugh causing Tyler to walk in curiously. He gave me a look. "Do I want to know?" I said nothing and gave him my phone. He laughed, harder than I did. "That's priceless. Ten bucks says Bree stole the phone."
Not accepting nor declining his bet, I typed out my reply.
To: Allie~
Seems a little early for that but if you're down I am too;)
After hitting send, I let Ty read it, causing him to fall on my bed in a fit of hysterical laughter. "That," he managed between breaths, "was too fucking funny! I bet the look on her face was priceless." We both laughed until my phone buzzed again.
From: Allie~
God, please ignore that last text. Bree stole my phone. I'm not like that I swear.
I smiled and decided to ease her worries.
To: Allie~
I didn't think you were like that. Don't worry. Besides my reply was a joke. Girls like that tend to piss me off.
I couldn't help but think about Mariah and her bitch squad when I typed that. I sighed angrily in memory of this morning's events. Oh well, nothing can be done now. Honestly, if it weren't for them, I probably wouldn't have met Allie.
As I let sleep take over, I let my mind wander to the strange girl from Mississippi. Maybe she'd be able to get close to me? Or maybe not? Who knows, the only person who's ever gotten close to me is Ty. And there's stuff even he doesn't know.
