"Hey Mirai? Hinata?" Kaiyo called out as they ate breakfast. "What's up?" Hinata asked. "If I really wasn't from the Yuuki clan, would we still be friends?" Kaiyo asked, causing them to stop eating. "What brought this on? Even if you weren't a Yuuki, we would've still been friends." Mirai said and Kaiyo smiled. "Thanks. I'll go ahead." She said and placed her dish in the kitchen and went to get dressed. "If they really come for me, then I'm not a Yuuki." She said looking at her restraints before taking them off. "It feels strange." She said and left. "There's no way it's possible." She said as she walked. "Good morning Kaiyo-chan." Nozomi said walking up to her. "Good morning." She said and continued to think. "What are you thinking about? It seems to be bothering you." She asked and Kaiyo shook her head. "It's nothing." She said and they arrived at the school. "I'll be in the library if you need me." She said and went to the library.
"The Nishi clan. There it is." Kaiyo said scanning the shelves. "Good morning Kaiyo-san. I haven't seen you in here before." Hanayo said and Kaiyo looked up at her as she sat down. "I wanted to read a book. I'll be gone before class starts." She said and Hanayo nodded. "I'll be at the desk if you need anything." She said and Kaiyo nodded and started to read.
"I try not to doubt my parents but the more I look into the matter, the more it seems true." Kaiyo thought as she finished the book. "I'm heading out. See you at lunch." She said and left. "Ah yes." Hanayo said.
"Kaiyo, Nozomi told me that you went to the library this morning." Eli said and Kaiyo nodded. "Is it so strange to see me in the library?" Kaiyo asked as she ate. "No it's not. Are you studying for midterms?" Eli asked and Kaiyo looked at her confused. "Midterms? When are those again?" She asked and they sighed. "They start tomorrow. Don't tell me that you haven't been studying." Umi asked and Kaiyo shrugged. "I've never studied." She said and continued to eat.
"Yuuki-san could you answer this?" The teacher asked in class. "Yuuki-san?" They called out but Kaiyo didn't answer. "Kaiyo?" Eli called out and Kaiyo broke out of her trance. "I'm sorry?" She asked. "If you're not feeling well, you can go home." The teacher said and Kaiyo nodded and grabbed her bag.
"Are you Kaiyo?" A man asked and Kaiyo looked at her as she walked home. "Yeah?" She said and the man bowed. "My name is Nishi Haruno. I've been sent to get you." He said and Kaiyo nodded. "So I'm really not my parents daughter. Alright take me with you." She said and he nodded and teleported them to a large room. "Welcome home, my child." An old man said smiling. "Let's get this straight. I just want answers nothing more. This is not my home." Kaiyo said surprising him. "What do you mean, my child?" He asked. "I'm not your child. My name is Yuuki Kaiyo. I just want reasons why I have your clans powers." She said and the old man nodded. "Sit. I will explain." He said but Kaiyo refused. "I will stand." She said and the man sighed.
"You are a member of this clan. How old are you now?" The man asked. "I'm turning eleven next month." Kaiyo said and the man nodded. "You should have markings appear on your body when you're upset. You're the next head of our clan so you will without a doubt have those markings. You have unlimited burst. That's the power of the clan head. It's random but you have inherited it from me. When I die, you'll take over. Since you have come here of your own free will, we will give you a choice. You will stay here and finish your education or you will be thrown into the cell underneath this house. We will take everyone you love and care about and throw them in there with you." He said and Kaiyo clenched her fist and jaw. "I will make my own decisions. I just wanted to come here to tell you to not involve me in this clan. I never asked to be the next head. If you try to harm anyone around me, I will fight back no matter what. Try me and you'll regret it." Kaiyo said and the old man smiled. "Very well. This is what you wish." He said and snapped his fingers. "You'll be staying in the cell until you come around." He said and Kaiyo was held down.
"My parents will find me once they find out that I'm missing." Kaiyo said banging on the cell. "Shut up. If they care enough, they'll know not to come." Someone said hitting Kaiyo to the ground. "Help me." Kaiyo mumbled as the lights turned off.
"Was Kaiyo not here when you came home? I heard she left early." Mirai asked looking around the apartment. "I thought that she was with you." Hinata said with a worried expression. "She would've told us if she was going to be home late." Hinata said and Mirai nodded. "Yeah it's a little worrying. Maybe something happened to her. She was acting weird this morning. Maybe that's what's happened." She said and heard Kaiyo. "Did you hear that?" She asked and Hinata nodded. "She needs help." He said and went to his room. "I'm going to change. You change also and we'll go." He said and they changed. "I'll tell everyone. They'll want to help out." Mirai said but Hinata stopped her. "Don't. Call her parents but that's all. She wouldn't want people to worry for no reason." He said and Mirai nodded. "Alright." She said.
"Have you made your decision?" The old man said looking down at Kaiyo. "I refuse. I am Yuuki Kaiyo. I belong to the Yuuki clan. You will not keep me here. My roommates probably figured out that I'm missing. They'll be here soon." She said and the man nodded and walked away. "Do it." He said and a man walked in. "Who are you?" Kaiyo asked looking up at him. "I'm your grandfather. Nijino Masaru." He said smiling. "Then are you here to help me?" Kaiyo asked and Masaru popped his knuckles. "Far from it."
