chapter 2

"I'm sorry I'm a little late." Kaiyo said as she walked into Hime's house. "It's alright. Since you're here, let's get started." Hime said and Kaiyo nodded and sat down. 

"So the plane was shot down?" Kaiyo asked and they nodded. "Yes. It seems that their target was your parents along with other business owners." Tsubasa said and Kaiyo nodded. "Where did they go missing? If we knew then we could estimate where they are and send a rescue team." She asked and Yuzu took out a map. "If you go by the GPS on the plane, they were just crossing the Pacific ocean.  We have to take into account that the GPS might've been hacked into so we can't go by that alone. We also have to take in when they went missing, what time and estimate when the GPS was hacked." She said and Kaiyo nodded. "So if we go by their GPS, they would be right around here." Yuzu said, circling an area. "That was right before the flight went missing. We only found out that it was missing when it didn't check in in the six hour check in." Hime said and Kaiyo took the pencil and tracked back. "So if the GPS really was hacked, that would put my parents flight right around here when they went missing." She said and they nodded. "That's around the time they last checked in." Laura said. "The islands in the area are these five. None of them have humans living there. We should have five search teams to go and check." Ako said and they nodded. "There is already the USA and Japan looking for the flight, if Four stars academy joins the search, it'll be faster." Mahiru said and went to the phone. "Then that's settled. Now to decide what we're going to do with Tsubaki-chan and Shouta-kun." Hime said and Kaiyo noticed the change in air. 

"I'll take them until my parents are found. You all will be busy looking for them so the least I can do is take care of my siblings." Kaiyo said and they looked at her. "Are you sure? We can take them if you want." Koharu asked and Kaiyo shook her head. "I'm sure. Please focus on your work here and looking for my parents. I'll take care of them." She said smiling. "If you insist on taking them then we won't argue. Please tell us if you need anything." Tsubasa said and Kaiyo nodded. "It would be better to change their school for now right? So that they can stay in my apartment." She asked and they nodded. "It would, do you know how to enroll them?" Hime asked and Kaiyo nodded. "It's not that hard. I'll go to them right now. Thank you for today, I'll call you if I find something on my end." She said and left. "She's just like Subaru-kun." Hime said and they nodded. 

"Tsubaki! Shouta!" Kaiyo called out as she entered their family home. "Onee-chan!" A young boy yelled running to her. "How are feeling? Are you hungry?" Kaiyo asked picking him up. "Tsubaki-chan is making dinner right now so I'm alright!" He said and Kaiyo smiled. "I'll go help her. Go play in your room." She said, putting him down. "Alright!" He said and ran off. 

"I'm home, Tsubaki." Kaiyo said walking into the kitchen. "Welcome home Onee-chan. I though you were coming home for Christmas only." The blonde girl said and Kaiyo walked up to her. "I just wanted to come home for a few days. Don't worry, I told my school." She said and Tsubaki nodded. "So what did you come home for?" Tsubaki asked and Kaiyo smiled. "I can't get anything passed you. You and Shouta will be staying with my for a while. I just came to get you." She said and Tsubaki looked at her. "You didn't come to see us on your own will. Why are we staying with you? Mama and Papa should be home in a few days." She asked and noticed the slight change in Kaiyo's expression. "What happened?" She asked and Kaiyo motioned for her to sit down. 

"Mama and Papa aren't going to be home for a while. Their flight is missing. Four stars academy is joining the search for them but I don't know when they'll be found." Kaiyo said and Tsubaki nodded. "Alright. Thank you for telling me." She said and stood up. "I'll finish dinner so go take a bath." Kaiyo said taking the ladle from Tsubaki. "Alright, thank you Onee-chan." She said and walked away. "I'm sorry I'm such a terrible sister Tsubaki. I always seem to cause you pain." Kaiyo thought as she finished up dinner. 

"Thanks for the food!" Shouta said and started to eat. "Shouta I have a question." Kaiyo said and he looked up at her. "Nani, Onee-chan?" He said and Kaiyo smiled at him. "How would you like it if you and Tsubaki stayed with me for a while?" She asked and Shouta's face lit up. "Really!?" He asked and Kaiyo nodded. "Really. That means that you'll have to change your school though." She said and Shouta smiled at her. "Yeah! It'll be fun to be with you again, Onee-chan!" He said and Kaiyo nodded. "Then we'll leave in two days. I'll tell your schools that you'll be transferring." She said and finished her meal. "Shouta when you're done, go take a bath alright?" She said and Kaiyo nodded. 

"Onee-chan, are you sure about taking care of us?" Tsubaki asked while Shouta was in the bath. "I'm sure. In times like this, you two should lean on me. I'm the older sister after all." Kaiyo said smiling at her. "If you insist. So how many days of school  have you missed since all of this started?" Tsubaki asked and Kaiyo looked at her surprised. "Of course you would know. I've only missed four days. It's fine though. I won't get behind the other students." She said and Tsubaki sighed. "I hope you don't. Just make sure not to do anything stupid like you usually do." She said and Kaiyo smiled at her. "Alright I won't. As long as you don't." She said and Tsubaki smiled at her. "No promises." She said and they started to laugh.
