"Do you have everything?" Kaiyo asked before they left. "Yeah!" Shouta said while Tsubaki nodded. "Let's head out then. I'll enroll you two in school and daycare when we get there." Kaiyo said smiling.
"Onee-chan does Mama know that you dyed your hair?" Tsubaki asked while they were on the train. "She doesn't. I dyed it a day before I started high school." Kaiyo said and Tsubaki sighed. "Does your school even allow you to dye your hair?" She asked with her hand on her face. "The student council president gives me shit about it every time she sees me." Kaiyo answered and they arrived at Akihabara. "What about Hinata-chan and Mirai-chan? Do they know?" Tsubaki asked as Kaiyo picked up Shouta and his things. "I talked to them last night at the park. They're transferring here in about a week. Mirai will be going to Otonokizaka and Hinata will be transferring to an all boys school. They'll be staying with us." She explained.
"Hey Eli isn't that the troublemaker first year that you're always talking about?" A black haired girl asked. "Yeah. It's outside of school so leave her alone." Eli said and kept walking. "But we're heading to her home. Shouldn't we go talk to her?" Nozomi asked and Eli sighed. "Fine. It'll save us time." She said and called out to Kaiyo. "Hey Yuuki Kaiyo!" She said and Kaiyo looked at her. "Yes?" Kaiyo answered, surprising them. "Why haven't you been coming to school? Your attendance is terrible and we're only three months into the year." Eli said and Kaiyo sighed. "Let's talk about this at my place. It isn't far from here." She said and started to walk again. "Onee-chan what does she mean? I thought you told the school." Tsubaki said and Kaiyo smiled at her. "It's alright Tsubaki. I'll take care of it so don't worry." She said and Tsubaki nodded and they arrived at the apartment. "It's next to Nozomi's? I knew it was the same complex but this is such a coincidence." The black haired girl said and they nodded as Kaiyo unlocked the door. "I'm sorry for the mess. I haven't had a chance to clean up." She said and walked in.
"Tsubaki go to the room and unpack. I'll watch Shouta." Kaiyo said and Tsubaki nodded and walked away. "Please sit in the dining area while I lay down my brother." She said and the three girls nodded.
"So what did you need to talk about?" Kaiyo asked, sitting in front of them. "I came here to ask what's going on? You haven't been to school in a few days and you haven't contacted the school." Eli asked and Kaiyo sighed. "I had to go home for a family emergency. I didn't have time to tell the school what's going on, sorry." She said and stood up. "Would ya'll like something to drink? I have water and tea." She asked. "Actually, could I use your bathroom?" Nozomi asked and Kaiyo nodded. "Of course, it's down the hall." She said and Nozomi walked away. "Can I have some tea?" The black haired girl asked and Kaiyo nodded and looked at Eli. "What about you, Kaichou?" She asked. "Water please." Eli said and Kaiyo nodded and walked away. "What about Tojo-senpai want?" Kaiyo asked from the kitchen. "Tea please." Nozomi said walking up. "Alright." She said and got their drinks.
"Will you be coming to school tomorrow?" Eli asked and Kaiyo nodded. "I will. I won't be missing anymore school for a while." She said and Eli nodded. "Alright, We'll see you at school tomorrow morning then." She said and stood up and looked at Kaiyo before leaving with the other two. "And dye your hair back. You don't want to set a bad example for your younger siblings right?" She said and Kaiyo smiled at her. "Alright. See you in the morning." She said and they left.
"Shouta get up, we're going out to eat." Kaiyo said, trying to wake him up. "Alright~" He said sitting up. "I'll go get Tsubaki so get your shoes and jacket on and wait by the door." Kaiyo said and walked to her room. "Tsubaki we're going out to eat." Kaiyo said and Tsubaki nodded. "Alright where are we going?" She asked as she grabbed her jacket. "Just to a cafe nearby. After that we'll go to the store to get some snacks for you two." She said and Tsubaki nodded.
"Onee-chan what did those girls want earlier?" Tsubaki asked as they walked to the cafe. "They were just worried since I wasn't at school for a few days. Don't worry, I'm not behind in school." Kaiyo answered and opened the door for the two of them. "How many people?" A waitress asked. "Just three." Kaiyo said and she nodded. "This way please." She said and led them to a table. "Thank you." She said and sat down with her siblings. "Yuuki-san?" Kaiyo heard and looked beside them confused. "Maki-chan is she a classmate?" The ginger asked and the red head nodded. "Who are you again? Sorry, I don't really know everyone's name yet." Kaiyo asked and she smiled.
"I'm Nishikino Maki. I sit next to you." The red head said and Kaiyo nodded. "I'm Kousaka Honoka!" The ginger said and Kaiyo nodded. "Nice to meet you." She said and the waitress came back. "I want a cake!" Shouta said raising his hand. "Alright, Two strawberry cake and one vanilla please." Kaiyo said and the waitress nodded. "I'll be right back with your orders." She said and walked away. "Are these your siblings?" Maki asked and Kaiyo nodded. "I'm Yuuki Tsubaki. Third year in elementary school." Tsubaki said bowing. "Yuuki Shouta! I'm in kindergarten!" Shouta said and they smiled. "It's nice to meet you, Tsubaki-chan and Shouta-kun." Maki said and their orders came. "Yuuki-san, I noticed that you didn't come to school this week. Is everything alright?" Maki asked. "I had to go home to deal with something. I sorry if I worried you, Nishikino-san." Kaiyo said. "It's alright. I'm just worried that the rumors will affect you." Maki said confusing Kaiyo. "Rumors?" She asked and Maki nodded. "Our classmates are saying that you got into a fight or maybe arrested." She said, confusing Kaiyo even more. "Why would they think that?" She asked and Maki sighed. "Probably because you dyed your hair and don't wear a proper uniform. It could also be because of the way you talk to Eli-senpai. How you treat the teachers. How you sleep in class or don't even pay attention." Maki explained. "Oh. I guess they think that I'm a bad person huh?" Kaiyo asked and Maki nodded. "Have you always been like that?" Maki asked and Kaiyo nodded. "I can't help falling asleep when the material is so boring. And wearing a proper uniform is really uncomfortable." She said and Maki smiled. "It seems that you're just misunderstood. If you'll like, I can introduce you to my friends that are about to arrive." Maki asked and Kaiyo smiled at her. "If it doesn't bother you." She said, surprising her.
"Maki-chan! Honoka-senpai!" An orange haired girl called out, getting their attention. "Over here!" Honoka said waving her hand and a group of girls walked over. "Oh, Hello there. You must be Yuuki-san." An girl with ash color hair said and Kaiyo nodded. "She's in our class. Rin, Hanayo, Do you two remember her?" Maki asked and they nodded. "She's the one the rumors are about!" The orange haired girl said and Maki sighed. "They're not true. She's just misunderstood. Anyway, Yuuki-san, this is Hoshizora Rin and Koizumi Hanayo. They're in our class also." She said and Kaiyo nodded. "It's nice to meet you." She said and they nodded. "Onee-chan, can we go?" Shouta asked and Kaiyo looked at him. "Yeah, let's go. See you at school tomorrow." Kaiyo said looking back at them.
"Onee-chan, are you dying your hair back?" Tsubaki asked while they were in the store. "Yeah, I told Kaichou that I would." Kaiyo said and Tsubaki nodded. "Onee-chan I want this!" Shouta said grabbing a box of candy. "Alright but you have to get something healthy now." Kaiyo said putting it in the basket. "Alright!" He said and ran off. "Tsubaki you can go get some snacks for you as well. Don't hold back, I have enough." Kaiyo said and Tsubaki nodded and picked out some fruit. "I want these then." She said and Kaiyo nodded. "Alright. Shouta let's go!" She called out and Shouta came running with some more fruit.
"Go ahead and take a bath. I'll be back in a few hours. Tsubaki's in charge." Kaiyo said and left again.
"Excuse me, I'll like to enroll my little brother here." She said walking into a daycare. "Are you his guardian?" A teacher said and Kaiyo nodded. "Yes, due to some unforeseen events, he's living with me." She said and they went to the office to fill out papers. "Thank you. I'll see you tomorrow morning." She said, bowing, before she left.
"Now for Tsubaki." She said and walked to the local elementary school.
