Chapter 14

"Kaiyo isn't that Toru?" Mirai asked as they walked home. "It is. Go ahead. I'll deal with this." Kaiyo said and went towards him. 

"What do you want?" Kaiyo asked getting his attention. "I want to talk. Take a walk with me." He said and started to walk. "I don't need to. Tell me what you want now before I leave." She said, causing him to stop. "So be it. Have your parents ever told you about your origin?" He asked confusing her. "What are you talking about? I was born from my mother." She asked and Toru smiled. "That is not true. You're not their child. You're a child from another clan that is near their end." He said and sat down on a nearby bench. "What the hell are you talking about?" Kaiyo asked clenching her fist. "Don't tell me you haven't realized? Don't you find it strange that Tsubaki inherited Limit release even though you're supposedly the first born from those two?" He said and Kaiyo walked up to him. "That's because my body was weak when I was born. Tsubaki was strong so her body inherited it. The clans doctors already explained this." She said and Toru sighed. "For someone who's so smart, you can be so dense. Your mothers body was weak also but she inherited Limit release from your grandfather. It doesn't matter how weak or strong you are. The first born always inherits. It's always been like that. The only logical solution is that you are not their child." He said and stood up. "Don't be surprised when you found out the truth. After all, your mother is from a lair. You never know when she's lying." He said and Kaiyo grabbed his collar. "Don't insult my mother! She's not a lair!" She said and Toru smirked. "Your temper is probably the only thing that you inherited from your mother. If you want the truth, you can always check the clans library at the main estate." He said and moved Kaiyo's hand before walking away. 

"I'm back." Kaiyo said as she walked inside her apartment. "What did Toru want?" Mirai asked walking up. "Just something stupid. He tried to tell me that my parents weren't my parents. Weird right?" She said and sat down on the sofa. "You don't believe him right? Toru always tries to get power so you shouldn't listen to him." Hinata said and Kaiyo nodded. "Right. Toru always lies just to get power. He would do anything to get power." She said and laid her head down on Mirai. "Thanks." She said and they smiled. "It's nothing. If you really want to check, you can always go to the archives at the main estate." Mirai said and Kaiyo shook her head. "It's fine. I know that they're my parents. They wouldn't lie to me." She said and turned on the TV. 

"If you want the truth, you can always check the clans library at the main estate." Kaiyo thought at she was taking a bath. "It's weird. How would Toru even know something that would be well kept hidden from everyone?" She thought and got out to get dressed. "Maybe he actually has proof. It's possible, isn't it?" She thought and grabbed her phone. "If I'm really not their child, who's am I? He said that I belong to another clan. Which one? Are they well know? They couldn't be. He said that they're near their end. I'll look tonight while Mirai and Hinata are asleep." She thought and went to her room. "Why am I even thinking about it? I don't doubt my parents." She asked herself. "It's to prove him wrong. That's it." She said as Mirai walked into the room. "Prove who wrong?" She asked and Kaiyo looked at her and shook her head. "Nothing. Let's get to bed." She said and they went to bed. 

"Clans near their end." She thought as she went through the archives on her laptop. "That's weird. All these clans are well know. Maybe I should go back ten years." She thought. "That's weird here's a record about Mama and Papa. First born child. Almost Eleven years ago. That's me. It was a problem because no one knew my mother was pregnant until she told her friends at her graduation. The main estate didn't know until a few days after I was born. They questioned if I was really their child or just some random kid. That's rude. Why would they question them. They had me when they were still teens so it's understandable to keep it a secret. Why is another clan mentioned on the next page?" Kaiyo read through the archives trying to stay quiet. "It seems like someone wrote this as a journal entry." She thought as she read through it. 

'3rd of January, 2009,

 the child has brown hair the elders thought that it was from Subaru-sama's side but it's a shade darker. Her eyes are not the same as any other clan members. Red eyes are unheard of from both sides. She doesn't have the characteristics of neither the Yuuki or Nijino clan. Suspicion that the child isn't theirs has risen.' 

'25th of June, 2011,

More clan members are questioning as the child grows older. She has not  inherited Limit release as she should as her birthright. More suspicion. The child has a very  strong power. They can control all elements. That's not common in either clans.' 

'18th of August, 2011, 

The child had lost control of her powers and has been restraints. She's very strong. Subaru-sama and Yume-sama have enrolled her in a martial arts class. They believe that it will help her. She seems to remind everyone of Yuuta-sama. She's very kind and is suspected to have the same strength as him. Yume-sama has announced that she's pregnant with their second child.'

'10th of February, 2012,  

The child has shown great intelligence. She has turned three years of age. No one is suspecting that she isn't their child now. Haru-sama and Aki-sama have finished their secondary schooling at Four starts academy. Yuu-sama has moved the the States for work. Yume-sama gave birth early to a girl. She has blonde hair and blue eyes.' 

'16th of July, 2013, 

I had to stop writing due to the main estate shutting down my investigation. I refuse to stop. That child can't be Yume-sama's and Subaru-sama's child. The second born inherited Limit release which is unheard of. The child is not theirs. I have suspicions that the child belongs to the Nishi clan.' 

'29th of December, 2014, 

The child was attacked by someone. She was very injured. They don't know that I'm the one who sent the people. I needed to confirm my suspicion. It happened today. The child turned five today. The power that the child let out was not from this clan. It was from the Nishi clan. They are a child from the Nishi clan. My new suspicion is that they are part of the head family. That power was unspeakable. The child is getting treated at Nishikino hospital. I'm sure that the child was never recorded in the Nishi clan's records since she was just born. She was taken before she could be recorded. If the clans found out that I'm the one that sent those people, they will kill me without hesitation. This might be my last entry. If anyone founds this, they must know that the child is not a child of this clan. We've been tricked. I can hear people coming. My name is Yuuki Akihiro. The restraints on the child block her powers so that the Nishi clan can't found her. You have to take off her restraints for them to find her.' 

"This is the last entry. I guess they really killed him." Kaiyo thought and closed her laptop and looked at her alarm clock. "It's already morning."
