Chapter 10

"You will not talk to me that way! I am an elder from the clan!" Toru shouted getting everyone's attention. "You are not an elder anymore. Yuuki Toru, I relinquish your title as an elder. You are no longer welcomed in the main estate and will reside in the temple from now on." Kaiyo said looking at him. "You're just a little kid. A ten year old! Just wait, you'll be begging for me to come back when you ruin the clan!" Toru shouted and the Nishikino's called the guards. "Please get in out of here. He's ruined this event." Mr. Nishikino said and Toru was dragged out of the room. "You'll regret this Kaiyo! You're too naive to lead this clan! You're just a ten year old who knows nothing about how mean this world can be!" Toru said and the doors closed. "I'm just a ten year old who knows nothing about how mean this world can be, huh? I'm a ten year old that's going to college in spring. I know more than enough." Kaiyo whispered and leaned back in her chair. "Are you alright, Yuuki-san?" Maki asked. "Yeah. Is it alright if I leave early?" Kaiyo asked looking at her. "Of course. Please go see your parents, see you at school next week." Maki said and Kaiyo smiled. "Yeah." She said and was led to a car. "So she's coming back?" Nico asked and Maki shrugged and turned to her. "No idea. Let's go home." She said and the banquet ended. 

"Excuse me miss, what room are my parents in?" Kaiyo asked running up to the front desk. "Name please." The nurse said. "Yuuki." Kaiyo said and the nurse typed it into the computer. "I'm sorry but they're not here. No one with the last name of Yuuki is here." He said and a doctor walked up. "You're Yuuki Kaiyo correct?" The doctor asked and Kaiyo nodded. "Please come with me. I'll take you to your parents." She said and Kaiyo nodded. 

"They're inside this room and are talking just fine. They've been asking for you for a while now." The doctor said and Kaiyo nodded as she walked away. "Should I just go in?" She thought as her hand was on the handle. "Kaiyo? That's you right?" She heard from inside the room. "I know it's you. I can sense your power." She heard and opened the door. "Yeah it's me." She said smiling. "Come here." Yume said reaching her arms out. 

Kaiyo didn't hesitate to run into Yume's embrace. She had missed both Yume and Subaru so much that she didn't realize that she started to breathe in their scents. "I missed both of you so much." Kaiyo said and Subaru walked over to the two girls and hugged them. "We're so sorry that we worried you." Subaru said and Kaiyo started to let all the stress that was built up from the last four months go. 

"It was so hard. You two went missing and we tried everything to find you. Hime-chan and the others wouldn't let me help you. Tsubaki wouldn't talk to me. Shouta didn't know what was going on. Mirai and Hinata tried to help but I couldn't talk to them. I was forced to become the head of the clan. Toru threatened to take Tsubaki and Shouta. I was locked in the main estate for three months. I couldn't do anything I wanted. I just wanted to see you again. I just wanted to know when you were going to wake up. I was so scared that you would leave me. I-I." Kaiyo let out and Yume and Subaru hugged her the whole time. "I felt so alone! I couldn't do anything to save you! I knew you were hurt and couldn't do anything!" She said as she started to cry. "I felt so weak!" She said. "It's alright. We're here now and we aren't going anywhere. We'll take over the clan again so you can live a normal life." Yume said rubbing Kaiyo's head. "Really?" She asked and Yume nodded. "Really. I want you to go to school. Make friends. Introduce us to those friends. I want you to be happy. Both of us want you to be happy." She said and Kaiyo looked at the both of them. "I love you. I hope you'll never leave us again." She said and they nodded. "Of course. As soon as we're clear to go, we'll be going home. Come visit us sometime and bring Hinata and Mirai." Subaru said and Kaiyo nodded. "I want to introduce you two to some classmates." Kaiyo said smiling. "Take a seat and tell us about them." Subaru said smiling the same smile. 

"My classmates are funny. One of them always scolds me for wearing the uniform wrong. The other just watches from behind and is a little perverted. The other one is short. I'm almost the same height as her. You can tell what she's thinking. Those are the three in the same year as me. Oh I'm now a third year so I'll be going to college next spring." Kaiyo said smiling. "We knew that you would've been moved up since you're so smart." Subaru said smiling. "Keep telling us about your classmates." Yume said and Kaiyo nodded. "Another one is really unpredictable. The other one is serious all the time. The third one just goes with what ever the first one does. The last three are fun to watch. One of them has a sentence ender. Another one is always really sarcastic. The last one is quiet but is really fun to talk to. She listens then responds." Kaiyo went on about the nine girls that night, not noticing the time going by and eventually fell asleep. "It seems that she found really good friends huh, Yume." Subaru asked as he picked her up. "She has Subaru. I just hope that she doesn't push them away just to keep them from finding out the truth." Yume said and Subaru nodded and lied her down. "She's just scared of them finding out the truth because of last time." He said and Yume nodded. "Even with the restraints on, her powers are leaking out. She's stronger than last time so she should be able to control them." She said, caressing Kaiyo's face. "The people who stay with you during your hard times are your true friends." Subaru said smiling. "That's what Oji-chan used to say. He always was one to help even when he's not there." Yume said smiling.
