Chapter 6

After school ended for the day, Kaiyo walked back to her apartment and was greeted by her siblings and someone else. 

"Kaiyo-sama, the elders are requesting your presence at the main estate to discuss what has happened immediately." The person said and Kaiyo looked at her. "I understand." She said and the person nodded. "Then we can expect you there tomorrow?" They asked and Kaiyo stood up from the sofa. "Let's talk outside, Asuka." She said and the person followed Kaiyo outside. "You won't be seeing me at the main estate unless I find it necessary." Kaiyo said and the person took a defensive stance. "Kaiyo-sama, you can't disobey the elders! They are requesting your presence there!" Asuka said. "If you don't go, they'll take away your birthright and have Tsubaki-sama take the position of head!" She said and Kaiyo clenched her fist and glared at Asuka. "Watch your mouth. I am the next head of  both the Nijino and Yuuki clans! If those damned bastards what to talk than they can come to me themselves!" She said, startling Asuka. "You have to come to the main estate! If you really want to spare your siblings from the suffering then you will do as you're told!" She said and Kaiyo grabbed her collar.  

"You do not order me around! I have have you put in solitary confinement for going against my word!" She said, not noticing  her classmates walking up the stairs. "Kaiyo-sama please calm down!" Asuka said. "You will not bother any of my siblings is that understood!?" Kaiyo said and Asuka nodded. "Tell those bastards that if they want to talk, they can come get my themselves instead of sending a lowly servant from the branch family. Leave before I throw you over the railing." She said and Asuka ran away. "Yuuki-san is everything alright?" Eli called out and Kaiyo looked at them surprised. "Yes, everything is alright. Forget what you saw." She said and went back into her apartment. 

"Onee-chan is everything alright?" Tsubaki asked as Kaiyo sat down on the sofa. "Everything's alright Tsubaki. Sorry to worry you." She said and Shouta sat on her lap. "Your color is red." He said and Kaiyo smiled and patted his head. "I'm alright Shouta. Onee-chan was just a little upset. Being with you and Tsubaki-chan makes me happy." She said and Shouta smiled. "Let's go out to eat tonight. I'll see if Anju wants to join us." Kaiyo said and they nodded. "I'll get changed from my uniform then we'll go." She said and walked to her room. 

"Onee-chan did Anju-nee say that she'll join us?" Tsubaki asked as they walked to the restaurant. "She said that she'll meet us there. Her and her friends are having trouble writing their new song." Kaiyo said and Tsubaki nodded. "You usually help them though. Aren't you going to help them this time as well?" She asked and Kaiyo shrugged. "I don't know. If they want my help, I'll help them. We're family so we have to help each other out." She said and Tsubaki nodded again and they arrived at the restaurant. 

"Go ahead and order. Anju texted and said that she'll be here soon. Her friends are joining us." Kaiyo said and looked at the menu. "Alright." They said and looked at the menu also. 

"Sorry I'm late. We've been having a writing block lately." Anju said as she sat down. "It's no problem. It's just nice to see you again." Kaiyo said as she placed down her menu. "Same goes for you two as well, Tsubasa-san and Erena-san." She said and they smiled. "We can never thank you enough for helping us with winning LoveLive last year." Tsubasa said and Kaiyo smiled. "It's not a problem. Anju asked me to help so I did. You three won last year because of your effort and talent." She said and their food came. 

"So did you need to talk to me about something?" Anju asked as they walked home. "The elders want me to take over as head of the families." Kaiyo said and Anju looked at her surprised. "But Subaru-Oji and Yume-Oba are still alive." She said and Kaiyo nodded. "They're still alive but they don't care. They've been missing for over two weeks now and we can't find them. As least that's what they know."  She said and sighed. "Does that mean that you've found them, Kaiyo-chan?" Anju asked and Kaiyo nodded. "I found them last night. They're one an island near here but Four stars academy won't let me join the rescue team to get them. Hime-chan actually forbade it." She said and Anju smiled. "She probably just wants you to focus on school for now." She said. "I can't focus on school if I know that my parents are in trouble. When I saw them last night, they were hurt. Really bad." Kaiyo said and Anju patted her head. "They'll be alright. Subaru-Oji and Yume-Oba are strong after all. Just give it time, Hime-san and the others at Four stars academy will find them and save them. Just trust them for a little while longer." She said and Kaiyo nodded. "Alright if you say so." She said and Anju smiled. "To get your mind off of things, how about you help us with our song?" She asked and Kaiyo smiled at her. "Once I settle everything, I'll help you out." She said and Anju nodded at her. "Alright. I'll talk to you later." She said and they went their separate ways.  

"Go ahead and take a bath. I have something to do." Kaiyo said and the younger two nodded and went to the bathroom. "I'm sorry you two. After Mirai and Hinata get here, I'll be leaving for a while." Kaiyo said looking down. "Onee-chan we're out of shampoo!" Tsubaki yelled from the bathroom and Kaiyo smiled at her. "Alright I'll get more after school tomorrow! Tell me if you want anything else from the store before then!"
