Third Person POV

It was you typical day at Beacon Academy. Students walked the halls filled with chatter and laughter. Some spent the day studying while others spent it playing games.

Tai: "Come on man."

(Y/N): "I already said no Tai."

Tai: "Just do me this one solid. I'll owe you big time after."

(Y/N): "Can't you find someone else? Why does it have to be me of all people?"

Tai: "Cause it helps me and helps you at the same time. I get my date with Summer and you get a date with Raven."

(Y/N): "You know how I am around her. I get so nervous."

Tai: "Just do this for me. Please."

(Y/N): "*sigh* Fine."

Tai: "Yes!!" He jumped up in triumph. His fist hovered in the air and (Y/N) gave it a quick bump. Tai ran off to tell Summer while (Y/N) turned and walked away.

Raven: "(Y/N)!!" He turned around only to be tackled by the black haired girl. She clung to his chest like a kitten.

(Y/N): "Hello Raven."

Raven: "Did Tai talk to you?"

(Y/N): "Do you mind getting off me?" She did as he asked and they got up. "Yes, he did talk to me."

Raven: "And?!"

(Y/N): "I said yes."

Raven: "Good. Those two need to hook up already." She smiled at the young man. "Don't you thing so?"

(Y/N): "The tension between them is something else."

Raven: "Yeah, tension." She made sure to stretch the word out. There was an awkward silence that followed.

(Y/N): "Anyway, I guess I'll see you tonight Raven."

The boy turned around and left the girl to herself.

Raven: "Yeah.....tonight." Her voice saddened a bit as he left. She turned around and slowly walked down the hall. Raven had a huge crush on (Y/N), but she hasn't confessed yet.

She's dropped multiple hints for the longest time, but he seems to not pick up on them. Maybe he wasn't interested in her. She decided that this date would be the last of her attempts. What was the use if he didn't return her attempts?

Timeskip - 5 Hours

(Y/N)'s POV

I wore a (F/C) t-shirt and blue jeans. My scroll was in my hand when a knocked came to my door. I pocketed my scroll and answered it. Tai was wearing a yellow t-shirt and jeans as well.

Tai: "You ready for this?"

(Y/N): "Ready or not right?"

We both left my dorm and exited the building. We walked to the front gate where two people were waiting for us. Upon getting closer I noticed it was Raven and Summer.

Summer wore a white sundress and heels while Raven wore sneakers, shorts, and a shirt that showed off her midriff.

Tai: "You girls ready?" Both of them nodded.

Tai took Summer by the hand and Raven attached herself to my arm. I swallowed the lump in my throated and ignored my fast paced heart beats. We walked for a couple of minutes until we reached the movie theaters.

We entered inside and bought some snacks. Afterwards, we decided on a movie and entered the room it was playing in. Summer and Tai broke off from us while Raven and I went to the top.

The movies started and everything went quiet. Only sound that could be heard was from the movies. I dipped my hand into the popcorn and felt something else. Raven's hand was under mine in the bowl.

Raven: "Trying to make a move?"

(Y/N): "Sorry." I took my hand out and Raven grabbed some popcorn. She huffed silently as I grabbed some popcorn. Moments like this continued throughout the movie until it's conclusion.

We left the theater and regrouped with Tai and Summer. Our feet carried us to a nearby ice cream stand. Tai and Summer bought a sundae to share. Raven bought a Strawberry cone while I bought a Vanilla cone.

We all sat down and ate. Summer and Tai were feeding each other while Raven and I ate silently. She hovered he cone in front of me.

Raven: "Wanna bite?"

(Y/N): "Thanks, but I don't like Strawberry Raven." She huffed once again and brought her cone to her mouth. Once we were finished we all got up and went to the nearby park.

Tai: "How about you girls go to the swings? I gotta talk to (Y/N) in private." The girls did as he asked and left us alone. "What is wrong with you?"

(Y/N): "What do you mean?"

Tai: "Raven is throwing so many signals at you man. Make a move on her bro."

(Y/N): "Look I'm nervous okay!! What do you want me to do?!"

Tai: "I want you to man the fuck up and go ask her out!!"

(Y/N): "Ghhhh!! Fine!!" I walked away from Tai and over to the swings. When I got there I only found Summer. "Where's Raven?"

Summer: "She left for Beacon. Guess she finally gave up trying to win you over."

(Y/N): "Fuck!!" I ran out of the park and towards Beacon. My heart was beating out of my chest. I needed to find her and fast. About half way to Beacon I spotted her.

(Y/N): "Raven!!" She stopped and turned around. I finally caught up to her and wrapped her in a hug.

Raven: "(Y/N)!!"

(Y/N): "I'm so sorry Raven. I should have done this sooner."

Raven: "What are you talking about?"

(Y/N): "This." I brought my lips to hers and captured them. She wrapped her arms around my neck and deepened the kiss. We pulled away after a few minutes of making out.

Raven: "You do like me."

(Y/N): "I've always liked you Raven. I was just too nervous to act on anything. All the hints you gave me. I was a fool for not acting on them till now."

Raven: "That okay." She nuzzled into my chest and I wrapped my arms tighter around her. "You're here now."
