Warmer Inside

This is a Homeless Weiss x Male Reader requested by me.

Third Person POV

It was a cold winter evening. People walked the streets minding their own business. Some people sat on the sidewalk talking while others sat on the sidewalk begging. One of those begging was Weiss Schnee.

She was the former Heiress to the Schnee Dust Company. Her father had disowned her and kicked her out onto the streets. Her other family members didn't even bother to try and help. She was all on her own.

It's been three weeks since Weiss was kicked out. Her body was thinner than usual, her platinum white hair was dull and dirty, and she was shivering from the cold.

Weiss: "C-Cold." She wrapped her dirty jacket around her even tighter. People walked past her without a second thought. She tried to ask for money, but everyone seemed to ignore her.

She reached into her pocket and pulled out whatever lien she had left. It was a small amount, but enough to get her a snack. She got up from the pavement and walked to a nearby store. She entered it to find barely anyone inside. She quickly grabbed a cheap snack and went to the counter.

???: "Will that be all for you miss?" He was a guy with (h/l) (h/c) hair and (e/c) eyes.

Weiss: "Yes."

???: "That will be 1 lien." Her fingers were shaking from the cold so she was fiddling with her change. She finally grabbed the change and handed it to the young man. "Have a great day."

Weiss: "You too." She left the store in a hurry and returned to the spot she usually sat at. She opened her cheap snack and took a bite from it. She savored the flavor slowly and continued to take small bites from it.

After a few moments, she had finished her snack. The cold air blew against her skin and made her shiver once more. A few tears fell from her eyes and onto her jacket. She closed her eyes.

???: "Miss?" Her eyes shot open and looked up. It was the same cashier from the store. "Come inside."

At first I was hesitant, but I soon nodded and followed him inside the store. They walked behind the counter and the cashier told her to sit in a nearby chair. She did as the cashier asked.

The cashier walked out from behind the counter and walked around the store. He grabbed an assortment of items and returned to Weiss. He rang them all up and quickly swiped his card to pay for them.

He handed a bag to Weiss filled with all sorts of treats and goodies. Weiss was shocked at the amount of food that was in the bag.

???: "Eat up." She only nodded at his remark and began to eat. There were so many snacks that Weiss had a hard time choosing. After a couple of minutes she had finished half of the bag and was full.

The cashier look at her with a smile while she just looked away slightly embarrassed. He walked around the counter and locked the store door. He returned to Weiss and sat down in the chair next to her.

Weiss: "Thank you sir for your kindness." They both sat in silence. "Why though?"

???: "Times are tough for some people." He got up from his chair and started to shut down his register. "If I can help in some way, shape, or form then I'll do it."

Weiss: "I don't even know your name."

(Y/N): "My name is (Y/N)."

Weiss: "My name is Weiss."

He finished closing his register and walked over to Weiss. He motioned for her to follow her and she did as he asked. They exited the store and (Y/N) locked the doors once again.

They walked to a nearby car. (Y/N) opened the passenger side and motioned Weiss toward it. She was hesitant to accept. She didn't really have any other options so she entered the car.

The door gently closed and (Y/N) entered the drivers side. He turned the heater on and Weiss began to warm up even more. The buckled their seat belts and drove off. A couple of minutes passed by until the parked next to a house.

Both of them exited the car and walked to the front door. (Y/N) opened it and Weiss entered first. She looked around the house to find it cozy.

???: "Bark!" A small pug came running from around the corner. He was barking and jumping at Weiss's leg.

(Y/N): "Down Max!! I said down!!" He did as (Y/N) commanded and stopped jumping at Weiss's leg. "Sorry about that. He loves to meet people."

Weiss: "It's okay." (Y/N) knelt down and began petting his loyal companion. Max flopped on his back and (Y/N) rubbed his belly. Weiss smiled at the two.

(Y/N): "Who's a good boy!! Max is a good boy!!" The pug happily barked and wheezed while (Y/N) pet him. After a few more moments (Y/N) stopped petting him and Max darted away to somewhere in the house.

Weiss: "It must be nice. Having a connection like that to someone."

(Y/N): "Don't you have someone?"

Weiss: "I don't. What I had was taken from me and who I had didn't care for me." A few tears dropped down her cheeks. (Y/N) walked up to her and enveloped her in a caring embrace.

(Y/N): "It's okay now Weiss." He rubbed her back gently while she'd cried into his shirt. After a few minutes she pulled away and thanked him. He quickly ran up the stairs and retrieved some pajamas for Weiss.

He showed her where the bathroom was and she thanked him once again. A half an hour passed and Weiss stepped out of the bathroom clean and refreshed. (Y/N) had cooked dinner for the two when she walked into the kitchen. They sat at the table and ate while Max ate from his dog bowl.

Weiss: "Thank you so much for your kindness." She placed he fork down on the plate. "I don't even know how to repay you."

(Y/N): "You can repay me when you get back on you feet. Until then, you can stay with me for as long as you want."

Weiss smiled and a few more tears fell from her eyes. She wiped them away and nodded with a smile.

Timeskip - 3 Months

Three months have transpired since that faithful night. Weiss had found a job and was working as hard as she could. She was given a second chance thanks to (Y/N) and she wasn't going to waste it.

The pair had grown close to one another. Weiss felt comfort and warmth in his presence. Just being near him made her happy. After working up the courage, she confessed her feelings for the young boy.

He returned them by capturing her lips with his. Their kiss lasted for a few minutes and it was bliss. They pulled away with smiles. Max jumped up on the couch they sat upon and licked their faces happily.
