A flower is an object that's alive
but not all living things are a flower.
With the ability to thrive, survive
but not at all as tall as a tower.
With the fragility of something thin,
while having the weakness of something small,
and as the flower blooms, life will begin
whether or not the plant grows on a wall.
Every once a year the flowers bloom
with many varied colours and sizes
The beautiful-ness made into perfumes
Or maybe even used to be prizes
Flowers are sometimes given a meaning
but you cannot bring them to dry cleaning.
