"Has this happened much since she has been over here?"

The doctor nodded and checked her pulse again, "She's sleeping but its not a coma. I'm not for sure why this is happening, nor what is causing it. My only hunch is that she has narcolepsy."

"Narco... what?"

"Narcolepsy, when your brain cannot regulate the sleep or wake cycles normally. This causes the patient to fall asleep and wake awhile later. They have no control over it either."

"That... makes sense." Looking down at Aida, I cloud see her eyes fluttering open.

"Aida."

"What happened?"

"You had another spell Princess."

"I see..." she replied feeling ashamed.

"I believe you need some time to think I'll leave you two alone," the doctor swam away and shut the door quietly.

"You came back," she said quietly while looking at the ground.

"I promised I would didn't I?"

She finally looked at me and peered into my eyes, "You haven't changed a bit Souls."

Her comment struck me, should I have changed? "I figured you wouldn't recognize me after thirteen months."

"I would never forget you Caleb," her soft smile appeared as she sat up.

"There's the Lanna I know," I joked and hugged her gently. "Tell me, have you been on land any?"

"No," she admitted and finally stood up.

"Well, we'll have to change that won't we?"

"Where are we going?"

"We, my dear are going to take flight and visit the Zephyr."

"I get to see a dragon?" she asked wonderstruck.

"Yes, you'll enjoy them. Sapphira needs your help as well."

"Mine?"

"I'll explain when we get there, but we need your Ring to help. I heard it is connected to your moods?"

"Well, yes... but why would you need it? I still haven't figured out it's true powers."

"Sapphira should be able to help with that. The game plan is for it to help restore the power of their Ring or prevent it from being tampered with in the future."

"I'm guessing the sooner we leave, the better?"

"Yes, go and pack what you need and we'll be off."

I went to go find Jewel and notify her that we would be leaving soon. Patch was with her as was the rest of the crew.

"Good to see you Captain."

"You too Patch, ready for some sailing?"

"Aye, heard we were going to see Sapphira."

"Aye, we need to help her and she can possibly help us in return."

"Skye," Aida called as she swam forward.

"Yes, Princess."

"Would you like to go along with me? We're going to see the Zephyr. Patch is joining me and well, I may need you there to help me represent my mother in a distinguished manner."

Distinguished? What the hell. She had changed into one of them. I just hope she hadn't changed completely.

"I'd be delighted to go! I'll go grab my bag."

"Great." Skye left and Aida looked at me. "Sorry, I need her as much as I need Patch."

"Of course, Princess."

"You don't have to call me that Caleb, Alanna is fine."

"Your name is Aida though."

"To them yes, to you it is Alanna."

I smiled to myself, she wasn't completely different after all.
