Chap 25: school dance

*2 weeks later*
The last two weeks of school were alright actually people were always looking at Ryder and I. We had to tell the class what we no about each other so far in English which was weird since everyone knew we were a couple. Also he's been training nearly everyday which means less time to practice but I still practice even if he isn't. We have been on a few more dates and on the last one he sung for me which was really cute and then we had an argument as to why he doesn't share his gift with the world and he won. I was currently getting things out of my locker when the bell went for class and I walked off to english. Once I got there I sat down and waited as Ryder walked in and sat next to me with a smile on his face.

"Hey beautiful" he said as I smiled back at him and pushed my glasses up.

"Hey Ryder" I said as the teacher walked in and got set up.

"So what time do I pick you up for the dance?" He asked as I totally forgot tonight was the dance oh god.

"Um 5?" I asked as nodded.

"Okay I will be at yours at 5 no later no earlier" he said as I laughed.

"And if your late I'ma get Ivy to take me" I replied as he gave me the sassy look.

"So if I'm late you won't wait for me?" He asked as I nodded.

"Well I feel loved" he replied as I laughed again before the teacher started talking about what we had to do today and we began to work on it. My brother still doesn't like Ryder and I as a couple which annoys me since he is my brother and he should support me I mean heck I support him and Ivy. Every time Ryder and I walk past him he glares at Ryder or has a pissed of look on his face. He has been going to fights more often and coming back with more and more bruises and cuts on him which is kind of scaring me.

"Hey you okay?" Ryder asked as I blinked a few times before looking at him and nodding.

"Yeah sorry just spaced out" I replied as he nodded.

"All good okay so you gonna help me or am I doing this myself?" He asked as I sighed and took the pen from him and began to fill out the paper.

School was over and I was driving home to get ready for the dance. I was a bit excited I mean except for the fact mom said I can't wear my glasses because Wonder Woman doesn't wear glasses and she doesn't want me to break them. Soon I pulled up home to see my brothers car there already as I hopped out and walked inside.

"Hello how was school?" Dad asked smiling.

"The usual" I replied as he nodded and I walked off to my room and began to get ready. First I had a shower and I decided to put my makeup on first for some odd reason. Then I put on my undergarments and then the costume which showed off my body and the boots were knee high with heels on the bottom so I wasn't going to be doing to much dancing or my feet will hurt. Next I did my hair and put the bracelets Wonder Woman wears on with the necklace Ryder got me even though it wasn't part of the costume. I grabbed my phone and looked at the time to see 4:40 wow I was early. I walked down to see my mom and dad smile at me.

"Look at you" dad said as I smiled.

"You look so good as Wonder Woman" mom said as I nodded before my brother walked down dressed as Thor and he showed a small smile at me as I returned it.

"Aw you both look super awesome I need a photo" mom said as we both stood next to each other while mom got her camera and we both smiled.

"Smile" she said as the camera clicked and we both took a step away from each other when there was a knock at the door and I smiled.
