Chap 23: dinner with the bad boys family

I walked out of the shower and chucked on some grey sweat pants and a white sweater with my grey uggs as I put my glasses on and left my hair out as I walked down to the kitchen to see my family all eating as I smiled.

"Morning" mom said as I grabbed an apple and sat down.

"Morning you excited for dinner tonight?" I asked as they nodded.

"I guess" Xzavier said as I looked at him I really hope he gives him a chance.

"Remember you both have to dress nice okay" mom said as we nodded. We finished eating before the parents went out food shopping and I felt my phone buzz and I looked to see one unseen message from about three hours ago.

-hey beautiful ur probably asleep but when u c this my parents just wanted 2 no if any of u r allergic 2 anything?

-hiya and no we eat anything 😊

I slipped my phone away and looked at my brother.

"Please try and be nice and get to know Ryder he isn't that bad" I said as he looked at me.

"I said I would try last night but I'm not making any promises" he said as leaned over the counter.

"As long as you try that's all I ask" I said as he nodded.

"I can't wait for this night to be over" he said as I sighed and shook my head.

We had about an hour till we had to be there and we were all getting ready I put on black skinny jeans and a cream coloured top with the bottom bit all puffed and mom gave me her white blazer as I slipped on black heels and put my hair half up half down and did light make up on my face and slipped my glasses on as I looked in the mirror and smiled I look decent. I walked down to see my parents dressed all nice as my mom looked at me and took my glasses off.

"Hey I need them" I said as she shook her head.

"You only need them to read and you look much nicer without your glasses" she said as I sighed Ryder has never seen me without my glasses so I didn't know how to feel right now but I knew mom wasn't giving them back till after the dinner. Soon my brother walked down in a brown button up shirt with a dark brown pocket on the left side and dark blue jeans with light blue converse and his hair all nice.

"You kids look so cute" mom said as we both groned.

"Oh sorry you look very nice and grown up" she said as we sighed and she pulled out her phone.

"Smile" she said as we did and she took a photo before we walked to dads car and we all hopped in before dad turned around to face us.

"Okay now the both of you need to be on your best behaviour got it" he said as we nodded.

"Now do you both have everything?" He asked as we nodded before we were off. It wasn't a long drive since he was the street next to us but he was all the way near the end as we stopped out the front of his house.

"Wow they must be rich" mom said as we hopped out and I looked don't at the ground not wanting to look up.

"Yeah you should see inside" I said as we walked up to the massive front doors and dad knocked on it before we heard footsteps and a door open and dad tapped my shoulder and motioned for me to look up as I did to see Chloe smiling.

"Hi you must be the Hudsons" she said as they nodded.

"please call us Paul and Grace" my mom said as she smiled and we walked inside.

"And call us Chloe and Harley" she said as my parents nodded and we walked further inside and the parents were talking as I looked at my brother before he had a small smile on his face and we stopped at the kitchen.
